Bit of a newbie question: would the Mods in charge of releasing the eggs take the downtime into consideration regarding how long the Dismots stay in the stream? Only it seems to take so much longer to hatch the eggs if you haven't put them in the IFN.
And yah, I'm probably being greedy! I love the Dismots!

The only one in charge of releasing eggs is Tristan. Not the mods or admins they have no power over that, it's all up to Tristan.

Thanks, didn't realise that. I was sort of hoping we might get a 'stay of execution' as these are so darn pretty but they seem to be a mite slower than some other eggs to hatch and mature. Ah, well, onwards and upwards!
At least the IFN is back up now. Yay!

Say for example Magistream is down for a while. That results in me giving the IFN creatures more time to stay in the IFN. But if the IFN is down, there's no reason it should affect Magistream in any way.I do have noticed some ways I could improve the code to make the IFN run smoother and more resource effectively and I'll get around to implementing those changes at some point when I get the time.
Until then, if the site gives out a CPU limit reached message people can either try the alternative http://mshatcery.tk link or if that gives out CPU limit reached message as well, then all that can be done is wait until around midnight EDT for the limit to reset.

Both the IFN and the Code Tools sites appear to be down for the moment. The host gives a notification that they are having some network problems and that they are working on resolving them so hopefully the sites will be back up soon.
