I know how to (or find the code for how to) create a biiiiiiiiig table at the top of a forum where you can put all the hatchlings/eggs. Then, you could just make the boards invisible to guests and limit registration, and viola! Forum turned into a simple mine.

Coding a mine is alright, can you code a form so people can enter the creature number and it gets updated in the mine on its own?

I can. I could also code it so that people could get their "embed multiple" codes and stick that bunch on to the form and then they would be added to the list of eggs and hatchlings in addition to the ability to add creatures just by creature number. It would also be possible to code an authentication system that would let the weed outers to enter a mode where there is an X or "remove" next to a grown up so they wouldn't have to manually check all the codes and update them.

I think this would actually encourage me to mine more as it would feel not so much a chore but as a valuable service to everyone else who has trouble growing critters.

this. i do have trouble with mines at times due to wonky old compooper-ness so i rarely use them...but i click sigs & the click threads like there's no tomorrow. i'd be much more likely to do some mining here & there if i knew it was helping people grow their creatures too.

I don't know anything about coding but I want to say I am completely behind this idea.

If they're all in one spot and easy to find, I'll know if I clicked one or not and not worry about "did I get this one or not" or anything like that. And that eggs/hatchlings will not be neglected.

Once we are able to work out the logistics, we will ask for volunteers. Without a lot of people helping out it will not work. Let us sort out a web site and get the coding done and then we will work on the other things.
