So is the first one a wolf....or a sheep? Cause I dunno why but it really makes me think of a sheep's head. Or maybe I'm finally going more blind.BBkat wrote:however we DO have a dragon now

Its living fire - and you let it out of the jar that said - Do not under any circumstances open ever! 0-o. Of course it isn't going to play nice nice and stay in one form.Real wrote:Can confirm that naming them doesn't stop the cycle.
I named mine while in dragon form hoping it would stay like that, but it changed.
Imagining these now haring through the keep now scorching peoples pants and singeing scrolls...if only we could get them to sit still long enough to toast a marshmallow or two.....

They would probably eat them before you could get them into your mouth.Mysfytt wrote:Its living fire - and you let it out of the jar that said - Do not under any circumstances open ever! 0-o. Re: Creature 1028 - Flaming Comet
So somebody asked about the inspiration for the descriptions. I wanted to use a couple of items that seemed fitting to the creation of a fireball comet creature. Iron meteorites are interesting, they're the most easily identified type of meteorite and were an early source of usable iron for humans before the invention of smelting. Saltpeter is used in fireworks and apparently Odan Galopin has a connection of some sort with the Arkai mages. And I just really love the idea that you walk into the Artificer's shop and upon buying this creature they hand you a jar and a note and say good luck.
I do like both the book and the movie versions of Howl's Moving Castle but Calcifer wasn't in my mind when I was writing.

Is it possible to get these as 0% eggs? Every time I try it either adds percents even if I do not see it, or it cancels out the buying because I didn't give the page enough time to process it. Very frustrating.

Right after you click the button to confirm the purchase, click the Keep button. The egg should be at 0% in your Keep at this point. You just have to make sure the egg's view page never comes up before you freeze it.Kesstryl wrote:Is it possible to get these as 0% eggs? I am in the process of moving house, so I will not be around much for the foreseeable future.
