Almost certainly yes. Freezing them is probably just putting a charm on the jar so you aren't tempted to open it. The time it takes to hatch is just the anticipation built up before you decide to open it.

That, and the time it takes to actually open the jar. I don't imagine the lids come off very easily, given you can't run them under hot water.
I assume my strategy of 'take a knife and make a hole on top to let the air travel though' might not be good either xD

I like the idea of these~~

I wonder if they rotate on the hour, since there's only an hour between these two

Can confirm that naming them doesn't stop the cycle.
I named mine while in dragon form hoping it would stay like that, but it changed.
