1 in 80 is a really bad ratio, but you gotta ignore it and keep going. Every drink has the same possibility. You'll get 'em.

I started with a rough 1 in 39 ratio but it turned into 1 in 25 after a while
I also noticed that I'm sobering up rather quickly. I wonder if there's something to it or not. Or if it's the fact I've drank so much in the past it's a grown immunity/tolerance

I'm only counting people who've had multiple crystalwings, and have provided both a drink number and a crystal number. Though I'll also happily take just a calculation. The below is a list of how many drinks, on average, it took to get someone a crystalwing, rounded.
3000/156 = 19
431/12 = 36
100/4 = 25
190/9 = 21
500/15 = 33
200/7 = 29
690/37 = 19
1700/75 = 23
The average of that is 25.6.

So it looks like there's about a 1 in 25 chance, a 4% chance, of getting a crystalwing on every drink. And I think we have enough people here, enough numbers, to be reasonably certain. That means that you spend an average of 250 gold (and a lot of clicking) per crystal. Not bad at all!
