So, no Easter event this year, or ?

Now I'm genuinely surprised it hasn't started yet.

I took the time to poke through the Site News, Community Discussion, and Creature Release threads, and it looks like the Spring Event usually starts either the day before or the day of Easter, occasionally 3 days before. Only once was it more than that, and one year, it started the day AFTER Easter (the Sceap in 2016.)

So we are actually right on schedule.

Was that last year with the Wolpertinger? They were released 5 days before Easter. I checked all the way back to the first event, though, and that's definitely an outlier, just like the Sceap are outliers for being released the day after. Most of them are day of Easter or 1-3 days before.

What I found interesting, is that the Spring Event doesn't actually seem to be announced in Site News every year- sometimes the only announcement is in the creature release news.

Regular major events usually start and/or are announced beforehand. Regular smaller events, on the other hand, usually don't get announced beforehand and don't have a strict date to them when they are supposed to happen.

Magistream's major events are the Magiversary, Halloween and the Winter Solstice celebrations. Smaller events include the Spring event, April Fools, and the Harvest festivities. (:

Okay, now it's kind of silly. I mean, whatever you call it, we all know it's basically an Easter event. And, it's Easter!

Maybe the event is delayed because of the koi pond release?

it literally just ticked over to Easter so... the event technically has all day to start.

Don't events always come out at the start of the day, though, within like 10 minutes?

(also, I want to be clear I'm only jokingly complaining, I don't know if it comes across like that. As long as we have the event, period, I'm happy. If we don't, I'll be a little peeved, especially with no "by the way" announcement, but I don't think that's the case- and I'd put up with it if it was.)

Usually scheduled events do start at midnight aka when the day rolls over, so Technically there should be something
