Re: New Creatures #985-86
Advice about the Koi pond: don't go throwing 1k into the pond, stick to 15g. I got trashy eggs (fabari, charaen) from 1k and Dragon and Ruby Koi from the 15g.

Male hatchling:
This small koi hatchling is hard to spot in the water. Lunar koi hatchlings are pale and translucent, and they only emerge at night, swimming close to the surface. The rest of the time, they stick close to the floor of the pond or stream, avoiding the harsh light of the sun and hiding from predators. They are happy to nibble at the fingers of their magi at night in greeting, their movements so smooth they barely disturb the water.
edit: there's no hatchie dimorphism.

maybe the other new creature is a koi hybrid w/the lunar koi? that'd be neat

The front page says breedability of the 2 creatures is undecided.feralkiwi wrote:ugh i hate the koi pond i'm so unlucky at it.

They are permanent creatures. Their breedability has not been determined yet.

Re: New Creatures #985-86
I really like the creatures in the Koi pond, unfortunately I barely bother to try because I do nothing but waste gold and get absouletly nothing in return. Can't we please make changes for the better for the Koi Pond? Just wish the drop rates were better, wish there wasn't a time constraint for when drops are better etc...Something I always imagined for the Koi Pond was, what if it was it's own tiny stream with nothing but the Koi creatures and of course you have to be at the Koi Pond page to access it.
Sorry for the small rant, it's just I like the creatures from this area of the game, but it's always extremely frustrating for me to get them myself and it really gets me down, especially now with new creatures being from there.

Re: New Creatures #985-86
How come new critters flood the stream for a few days but these ones are not ‘flooding’ the pond? I feel like there should be a few days where they are easier to get as well. That would help a little.Danafox wrote:I really like the creatures in the Koi pond, unfortunately I barely bother to try because I do nothing but waste gold and get absouletly nothing in return. Would be an interesting creature for an Elred cow to breed with for a potential hybrid.Jeh wrote:The front page says breedability of the 2 creatures is undecided. They are permanent creatures. Their breedability has not been determined yet.
