But for those people that only click the person above them [like myself] trying to catch people that you haven't clicked previously that day [blue line- and thus not trying to post below people you already clicked too much] can sometimes require you to post directly under that person.
I actually had no idea until now this apparently pestered people? Shouldn't this be posted somewhere if it's a rule?

Re: Regarding Click Threads
I actually had no idea anyone took the name of that thread literally. I don't think you're pestering anybody, don't worry about it too much. I try to only post once per page, but I make mistakes from time to time. It's not that big a deal.RunningAir wrote:But for those people that only click the person above them [like myself] trying to catch people that you haven't clicked previously that day [blue line- and thus not trying to post below people you already clicked too much] can sometimes require you to post directly under that person.

There aren't really any rules about it, and I don't think there need to be. I just click the whole page, and if I click at the top of a page, I go back and click the page before.

Re: Regarding Click Threads
I'm one of those that post more than once on a page in the click thread but that's more because I have this weird thing where I like to see my name in a line down the page. When I first came back I use to do all the game threads to do that but that was a lot of effort after a while and as someone mention result in a loss of gold earned per post for a time.
I really should stop posting so much in the click threads on one page since it doesn't really benefit me.
I never thought much on why there were three threads for clicks so it's interesting to read through here and see some reasons why it became a thing.
I do just the mass embed code so for the eggs one, my hatchies are included but not expected to be clicked on it just saves me time and when I only have one egg it helps to guarantee the 200g to help with gold earning.
Also, I didn't even know there was a nursery thing. I made this account in 2009 but after an on and off first few years where I didn't even go into the forums I stopped coming on and only got back in May of last year just before the Magiversiery. Everything regarding how to hatch eggs is new to me and really the threads made the most sense to me first. when I started to hear people talk about how to mine it just sounded so complicated. and still does no matter how many time I read about it. so that's not for me.

Cats are a favorite but I'll be happy to accept anything you're willing to gift.
There is a wishlist on my profile if you want more specifics on what I'm looking for.
Please do not click on anything outside of the Main keep tab

Re: Regarding Click Threads
Different threads are extra useful when you have an egg which needs just one or two clicks. You post your eggs in one thread, they get clicked, the creature is hatched, then you can catch/breed a new egg and post your eggs in a different thread, regardless on whether the first one is moving or not. That's how I use them.
I just realised I don't recall why I don't use the hatchery. It seemed inconvenient, can't remember why. I use Yarolds though, this is an opportunity to get clicks even from those who don't have a Magistream account.

Re: Regarding Click Threads
I don't really know if there were really 3 levels of thread-ness--but there were at least 2 in the beginning: the 80% and above thread was supposed to be for eggs or hatchlings that only needed one last push. When people began to consistently use it like the other two, it was abolished in favor to Egghatcher 2000 or whatever it is.

Re: Regarding Click Threads
I really like this discourse! I think there are a lot of tacit assumptions and ways that people perceive the patterns on these threads that aren't really explicitly talked about so it's nice to have everyone on the same page as to what they think!

Re: Regarding Click Threads
I usually just wait till i have a new set of eggs to post to the click threads again (I feel like I remember seeing somewhere about the once per page thing as a rule of some sort too, awhile ago. I try to avoid posting on the same page again if I can), but I use all three of them and try to click people's eggs as I can (if i see the same people posting across the threads, I usually try and go back a few pages to click new eggs if I've already clicked their eggs)

Re: Regarding Click Threads
From a former mod stand point the 80% thread was a nightmare for when people would report others for having eggs/hatchlings that were less than the 80% (it happened!). Since you can't see the percentage with out going into a keep you never knew what percentage something was at when it first got posted and whether it met the criteria or not.randomname wrote:I don't really know if there were really 3 levels of thread-ness--but there were at least 2 in the beginning: the 80% and above thread was supposed to be for eggs or hatchlings that only needed one last push.
