Re: Regarding Click Threads

I put my eggs in the Nursery to make sure they get clicks even when I'm not online. And I use the click threads solely for earning gold - by posting and clicking other people eggs.

But I agree that click exchange on the site is not bad idea. Don't know how possible it would be.

I use the Click-Threads, if i have the time. But i'm sometimes angry, because some people don't click (back), its from time to time hard to hatch my Critters (Bad Critters like Coal Wyrm, Diamond Wyrm etc) take to long to hatch. I also use Hatcherys, so my Critters also get Clicks, if i have no time for the Click-Threads. I also use Twitter. If i go to the Click-Threads i click all Critters i see, except for Hatchlings if the owner says "only to hatchling". But its hard to hatch the Critters sometimes. i'm from Germany in my Morningtime not much people are online, if i go to the click threads and click other ones critters and post my ones, i get around 4~6 clicks each critter from around 10 people i see online in the click-thread section. much people are so lazy and don't click or click back, i also visite often the threads after i post and click the critters from the people post after me.

i think a site click exchange would be great or other site intern things i can hatch eggs easier or grow easier my hatchlings up. or make the codes like the dragcave site. anyone is online at the page who i posted my critters and this see is a click. so i also would get views/clicks if the lazy people don't click my critters

3 click threads means more gold to be earned by players, so no one is going to be happy if any are removed.

People post in multiple threads to earn gold per post (in addition to gold from clicking). Some people post multiple times per page (presumably to get more gold, or maybe they just aren't paying attention) but that's frowned upon by some.

The click threads is also another way of encouraging people to be active on the boards and participate around here.

I vaguely remember it being a "thing" in years past, like randomname mentioned. Ya know...one of those things that someone gets annoyed about, makes a thread to complain, people jump on the bandwagon and it then becomes "a thing." XD

I personally don't care. Some people will refuse to click eggs of people who do it though. I am paying more attention to what I am doing (I am usually dragging lots of creatures around - I used to be a nursery worker and miss working for Belmos apparently, lol) and looking for the little blue line under the eggs to see if I have clicked them yet or not. :derp:

Personally I try to only post once per page or per few pages, sometimes there's that 'egg is at 99% please, someone' feel & oh boy, the 7am new creatures ahoy! -spam wave that happens and all the rules are out the window then
Posting just to get gold repeatedly ain't gonna do much when it's better to wait a while to get it to regain a little bit x2 You lose 10 with each post, so if you want to make gold, it's better to wait. I don't really think of if much. Mostly I go like "eggs in nursery, I'll dumb my eggs in the clicking thread, click and go to bed and hope people clicked and they've hatched when I get up" because nursery is no guaranteed to hatch while nursery + clicking thread tends to be the way
Extra gold is great~~ But I'm too lazy to go on a super spamspree xD Like, every other post is mine. It can happen - like I post on the same page again - if there's a rush or it's been a while since the last post in the topic - or the magical "New person with new eggs has appeared!"
This Signature looks so bad on mobile. Good lord it is HUGE. I'll need to work on that at some point. For now though I sleep

Huh wow I never knew that. It's a shame though, I post quite often in the click threads as I haven't been online for years and I'm so far behind! I don't want people to deliberately avoid clicking my eggs though, I even click the whole page usually regardless if I've clicked before or not.

I think I'll be a bit more careful now though

Maybe it was a SPAM or bot issue... I can't exactly remember the why, I just remember it becoming a bad/rude thing to post more than once per page. This was way back before my hiatus though (which was from mid 2015 to just this past December).

The thing is though, the threads move so slow (sometimes) you can come back after 30 mins and post without checking and still be on the same page. It happens. I didn't mean to unsettle anyone.

I usually try and click the whole page that I’ve posted on in each thread. There are certain people who’s eggs I refuse to click and I’ll skip over them. Not going to mention names or reasons why but... it’s only a couple people.

I like having three threads. Those and both offsite hatcheries usually see my eggs hatching either overnight or while I’m at work. Especially now with the event going on, things seem to hatch like crazy.
To hatchling only, please.

The reason to only post once per page is because if you post more than once, the page turns over faster. The pages turning over faster can mean less clicks if folks who come after just come to the last page.
