Competitions?

Okay so I've only recently come back to the site (yay!) and I've noticed there are old competitions, they seem to be fairly frequent but I'm not sure?
Does anyone have a guess when the next one will turn up?

Unfortunately there aren't many events. They seem to usually happen on Magiversery (May), Christmas and Halloween. And very rarely just randomly. Unless you count like events where they add new creatures basically every holiday like Valentines, Easter, Magiiversery (Magistream Holiday), Halloween and then Christmas.

So far there have only been a few site-wide competitions and it's up to the MS staff as to when we get them (though they always give us lots of time to sign up)- if we have another, there will be a site update post about it. I think there have been a few art/creative writing competitions, and then other non-art ones we've had were a breeding competition w/puvia, ariessa, hippocampi & anaugi (2016) , the halloween pumpkin tossing one (2017) and the last one was the potootoo breeding competition (2018). They're sometimes over holidays/at the same time as regular holiday events but not always.

Other kinds of competitions, like writing & drawing competitions used to be held about monthly but have stopped for one reason or another

Hmm it's a shame they don't happen more often though! I will just have to keep my eyes out for the next one.
