Wait, what is the limit to the tabs?

I just shove them into Winter Solstice though I had them in adult for a bit.

I have a "general tab" For anything I can't figure out how to sort. Or don't want to sort. That's probably going to be where all mine go.

I'm currently reorganizing my Keep and have sorted the event critters literally by the event: Spring, Magiversary, Halloween, Winter Solstice, etc. I don't generally keep unbreedable critters, but for those with Oblivion Pillagebeast eggs and the geodes, you could make a April Fools tab since that's when they were released.

As for the Krampens, well, they are a Solstice release, so that's where I'll put them.

I think the limit is. . .100 tabs? If I am understanding properly, anyway. Not sure I *WANT* that many, mind. . .but yeah. lol Wouldn't mind sub-tabs, actually.

I sold mine, but I'd have put them and any giftborns into the event tab. :)

It depends on the Folk-Tree actually. What traditions about him do you favor?
Austrian / Bavarian / Croatia (the three big ones) and more local pockets all along the Alps all have their own takes on Krampus.

One is demonic or pseudo-demonic, if you choose if you disagree with ... how do I put this gently ... rewriting folk belief after regional religion switch. It's been suggested that he's a cultural hold-over ancient Celtic tradition that the European Celts created at some point as a nature spirit, then grew hard-core with the violence once priests were giving hell fire sermons. One he's almost a kind of nature sidhe or akin to a fairy. A force of nature - not malevolent or kind Krampus just is what he is and does what he does as it's what he does. They can get really complicated on the level of town-to-town. There's one village where Krampus is a must for New Years - where he kills the old year. There another village where Krampus was merged with another local tradition and roams the streets on certain nights making as much noise as possible to banish evil vibes and chase out the OCD vampires and witches from town by creating disorder.

He's not necessarily bad or evil. Krampus can, in some places, be a protector. And yeah, he's been tamed a bit to be Santa's Body Guard and beater of naughty kids. What you would call him and were you would sort him in a TAB depends entirely on you and how you see him.

Personally, I keep them in my "living quarters" tab. I prefer make my tabs based on environment, namely the environment that is the keep-grounds. Ya know, stuff I think/know the keep has, the lake, the rooftops, the pasture the woods, the nearby mountains where dragons live, ect. I figured they'ed hang out in the living quarters going around looking for things to destroy and days to ruin.

I do it because it's more fun from a slightly RP-ish place and sidesteps the need to categorize everything by criteria that just doesn't always apply to MS critters. Everything lives somewhere though so it's very easy to sort.

I like this! Though I find it nearly impossible to RP in someone else's 'world'. For me it's easier to make up my own and go from there. Or use one that's well known as a base. But then, as a writer, I enjoy world-building anyway. :)

I sort my creatures based on derivation, e.g., streamborn, shopborn, questborn, giftborn, special events, cookies, etc. Although primary exception are any creatures that can be used to breed for hybrids, then I put them into a Hybrid Breeding tab. And hybrids have their own tab as well.
