I'm wondering if, as a community, we can agree to try to keep prices for creatures sold in the Merchant district somewhere in the post instead of editing them out. I've been on hiatus for a very long time and I have next to no idea what anything goes for now, but it's very hard to search for what things have sold for--the search feature will return posts of people asking to buy something without typing out the price, and then when I go to the original post it's often been edited out. I hate asking others to do the work for me in the "how much is it worth" thread but I feel I have to resort to that, because at least they have some idea since they've been active.
Just something as simple as making a spoiler titled "sold" and listing names and prices would go a long way toward making this easier. I know some people do this but I wanted to put the idea out there for people who maybe haven't thought of it.
Thanks for reading my ramblings

I personally cross mine over like so, it's useful for I keep in mind what the price was if I get more and well, I compare prices with other shops too so it's useful to be able to see them
This Signature looks so bad on mobile. Good lord it is HUGE. I'll need to work on that at some point. For now though I sleep

Re: Prices on sold creatures
Depending on which creatures you are looking for to sell or determine their value, you can go looking into people's shops for prices on streamborns and pretty much anything.
Then I suggest creating a simple Notepad file or Word document file and just copy pasting the names of the critters with the values and save it on your PC or laptop.
I recently started doing this for some of the new donis and newer creatures that I missed out on because of the same reason of not knowing what the values are currently and so I can have a general idea.
Of course you can reduce the price or increase it as you like, it's not set in stone, but it's great to keep as a reference guide so to speak.

Re: Prices on sold creatures
I have to agree. I'd like to 'make' my own shop and sell some of the beasties I've been collecting to sell, but it's seriously intimidating trying to find 'going' rates so I know how much to sell them for. I don't want to rip people off, but neither do I want to get ripped off. It's tough!

Re: Prices on sold creatures
prices definitely fluctuate based on supply and demand (also age- older released limited creatures tend to go for more than newer ones etc). I usually check the "how much is it worth" thread as well as other recent "lts" threads in waynal when pricing critters. I usually take into account how much I'd like to get for a critter- you can always reduce the price if things don't sell.
master belmos also has a base price list for most things (though his list usually doesn't account for supply/demand inflation) in his profile
