This means, naturally, that the ability to crossbreed Rabbitsune and Leporis Rabbits is absolutely irrelevant for a good portion of the site.

And yet here we are... a holiday event has been turned into a giant goldsink in some bizarre attempt to limit crossbreeding, for some reason was turned on in the first place. Why? Why can the two breed when that's clearly being discouraged from the get go?

The Rabbitsunes will be able to breed within their own species, so I'm not sure why you feel it's bad that they can, in addition to that, breed with their midmonth counterpart. This breeding mechanic is no different than that of Painted Hinds and Constellation Hinds, or Emerald and Cobalt Wyverns, or Sakulata and Arkenian Sakeira. The way I see it, this gives people more opportunities instead of limiting them. It's true some people may not have the shards to buy the midmonth, yet it's also true that some people might have shards to buy one midmonth and yet have no means to get multiples of the Rabbitsune. With crossbreeding they'd still be able to get more Rabbitsunes via breeding in this case.

As we're always trying to come up with something at least slightly new we appreciate all the proper feedback we get, so I'd like to hear in this case how you feel we should have made the mechanics work. Taking into account, that the event has pretty much only just begun, and there are several more days coming, with e.g. stuff related to the Rabbitsunes already planned and in place.

In general here is some more specific info related to the cookies to alleviate a couple of concerns that we've seen raised:

-Cookies can be used year-round, i.e. you can use them whenever during the event and after the event.
-Remy's Drink is not the only way to get the cookies. The purpose for the drink is the same as all Remy's drinks: to get MS-drunk. The cookies are meant as a nice bonus, not the main purpose for the drinks. So please, if you feel pressured or stressed to keep buying the drinks to get the cookies, you don't have to get the drinks if you don't want to.
-Remy's Drink has an equal chance of giving you any of the existing cookies. The drop rate is, and has been the whole time, statistically that roughly every 6th drink gives you a cookie. Do note, that since there is a random factor at play here, you might get cookies more often, or less frequently, and the chances are separate each time and not dependent of each other.

Yeah basically that Zeteri xD it's old-ish, at the risk if breaking, and the programs that people use don't exactly seem to work
+ I use Chrome as my main browser, if I somehow mangle that up I'm going to have to use Internet Explorer so x2
And currently it's phone only, long trip taking place. I'm super thankful for the Alicanto heart though! It helps so much

Also I hope our little black market guy has taken upon a new hobby of baking. You know. It's a..... less shady business....... (who are we lying to, the cookies are like illegal drugs, he surely has them for that purpose only if he does)

I'm really enjoying this year's event! The new creatures are lovely, especially the Wolphyns and I really like the daily quests. They keep me anticipating logging in the next day to find out what will happen and what rewards we'll get. Unfortunately I blew all my gold on the black market, so it looks like I better start clicking to get those cookies.
