I mine differently than most people where for hours it's only open x links every y seconds. Even then though my poor laptop only gets MAYBE 10k a day, so whenever I'm at school I use those computers. I have been mining since getting the sites going...and I havent even made 5k yet ( Thought laptop could handle it. Might be a little distracted too. 108k is amazing.

Goldmining is clicking on creatures to make money. If you have an alicanto heart (from the artificers shop) each Egg is worth 5g to click on, and each adult/hatchling is worth 1g. If you don't have the Alicanto Heart it's all worth 1g.

So there's something called the Image Free Mine and Image Free Nursery which allow you to click on them to make money (and the nursery helps things grow).

^ This post is what I followed tonight to make Opera work.

With Snaplinks which is the multi link feature you can also set a delay for when to open tabs in the options. I have an amazing computer but found that it doesn't over heat if i set the delay to 1 as it only opens 2-3 before they close, instead of waiting for them all to load and then right clicking and doing (close to right) which is what i used to do.

im personally a little surprised that the encounter rates for the koi, puvia, and kitsune don't seem to be raised. I cant remember if they did that with the cookie-able creatures last year too but i havent seen any of them even once today

not disappointed! just surprised. I suppose it does make having them that much more special.

How did you use 5 computers at once? Do you have a script or something that runs and auto opens or?

For each of the computers I had to individually download Opera, install two Opera add-ons (Linkclump and Tampermonkey), download CCleaner (Run it before mining everyday that way it doesn't show down) and those are the program's I use.

Going more into detail of what specifically I do is in the Linkclump settings I set it to open the links every X seconds. For example I can select thousands of links at once but it will open them one at a time after X seconds have passed and it'll do that until all links have been opened. Make multiple selections and that's Y links (Y is number of total selections) every X seconds.

Then of course I have the Close it script on Tampermonkey automatically closing each tab that loads.

Edit: Just read Shadows post, that's how I do it so I don't have to constantly sit by my computer(s). Shadow explained it much simpler than I did...

It's where you open a links of creatures on Magistream and each creature gives you 1g but overtime after opening enough links you can get a nice sum of gold.

Whoa, I've been using both Linkclump and Close It and never knew it could be set up to have a delayed open action. Just set it up to do so, and it's so nice that way! Doesn't lag the computer at all. Thanks for the insight Now I can actually have it mine in the background without making my computer implode.
