What about Amberspice Mice? I feel like they kinda match the holiday theme, and they're cute as heck, plus I don't see them too often.

Check the "Wishlists all around" thread and read some of the things people want if you need to get an idea. I have seen many people who want shop creatures that are usually unavailable to them (bred or bought). For example, someone in the Dark Brotherhood cannot buy anything from the shops of the Herbalist Guild and the Society of the Trident (and someone in no guild cannot access any of the three shops). Or, if they have not done the quest for the Artificer's Association, creatures from there. People also like hybrids and sometimes quest creatures, though the latter usually are bred individuals.

Personally, I enjoy gifting people what is only on their WLs as I feel gifting someone something they don't want (unless they say they're ok with anything), takes up a slot that could have been used by someone else who wanted to or could gift something on a person's WL. (ie: I specifically ask for no undead creatures and still, last year 7 of the 25 gifts I got were Mortifelis & Deceasus; that's 7 slots that people could have used to gift me things on my WL or even creatures I didn't ask for that aren't undead).

I usually go through wishlists and breed/ buy/ catch to gift those for the Christmas giveaway. But during gifting events, I usually gift the new creatures released in the stream for a particular event, or any newly released event creatures in the shop, depending on the gold I have.

Sometimes, gifting people based on their wishlist is hard, very very hard because there are usually only doni, or doni/ parentless GB and expensive creatures.

Would bred donis (low %, unfrozen) be appropriate gifts?
I haven't had much MS time recently so I thought maybe I could catch up on gift giving with bred and/or current donis (depending on an individual's wishlist), plus some bred cute stuff like bunns and hybrids, SB critters, etc.

I think any doni is beyond an acceptable gift, that's the kind of gift that restores your faith in humanity.
