I was wondering if it would actually be worth it to change guilds, just to get the achievements for the Water Shop and Herbalist Shop?
Using the Dark Brotherhood Shop as a guide, the cheapest creature there is 4,150g.. multiply that times 100 = 415,000g plus another 100k to do the Face Changer.. so we're talking over 500k, just to change guilds once.. and over 1 million to do it twice.. then another 100k to go back into the Dark Brotherhood.
That's a LOT of gold just to check off an achievement, with no real reward for the accomplishment.
Has anyone actually done this?
Is anyone considering doing this, or is trying to do this?
Opinions?

Re: Achievements
I want to know is how to get the Loaded for Xand Bear one. I've got at least 5 of everything. More than that on some. All of those should've been unlocked I think.

Re: Achievements
I wonder how many I need to drink though...hm.
Water is also the only one I've been with, I'll be a big traitor but I must get all of the achievements >:D As soon as I have like a million gold laying around without anything to burn it on, that's when I'll switch.

Re: Achievements
Due to how much gold is used for this, for me I would say no. It's a huge waste of gold and it should be reduced imo....Or better the achievement could instead count how many creatures you own from those specific shops in your keep. It would be more fair that way....at least that's my opinion. I will be saving my gold and the only reason I've considered changing guilds is just due to wanting more constant access to the Herbalist shop which tends to have creatures I love more. I've been in the Dark shop since the start and I hope to maybe change guilds, but I'll be honest I'd change right away quicker if the cost was much much lower. Gotta save my gold....and I'm not playing as active as I used to which is why I need to save even more now.CinnaminDraconna wrote:I was wondering if it would actually be worth it to change guilds, just to get the achievements for the Water Shop and Herbalist Shop?

Re: Achievements
I don't really want to change guilds either, I've been in the Dark Brotherhood from the beginning. But having those 'locked' achievements just makes me antsy, if you know what I mean. Other than the guild achievements, I'm only missing three.. trading 5,000 times, buying 100creatures from the Artificers Shop and buying 4 more Spider Lights (which I keep forgetting, lol).
And I agree, I think it should be how many of the guild shop creatures do you own.. not how many have you purchased. I know that things like this are 'gold sinks' but 500k is VERY expensive. Breeding shop creatures isn't all that easy either, some of them are very stubborn breeders, so breeding to get 100 of the same creature woult/could be a serious challenge.
