So yeah, tame Draculs have controlled feedings only. If these animals are being taught to not attack and drink blood, then how do they eat? Is it advised to take them to uninhabited locations and let them go nuts? Do tame Draguls have feeding schedules?
I’m sad that the Hollowjack weren’t able to breed though...
Mmmm, tasty omelette. Or something else. Shhhhh, you saw nothing

I forgot to say it before, but I like how the female has the richer color. More often it is the males of a species who is more colorful.

You'll be able to finish it at any time as long as you start the first part.
I hope so! I didn't have a Paervem so I hope I can finish it.

You needed the critters to get the first part done - and I don't see the badge on your profile? You do not need any more creatures past the first part of the quest.
You will be able to start the quest during the event. After the event you won't be able to start the quest if you haven't done so already.
Once you have started the quest you can finish it any time.
Upon completing the first part of the quest you are awarded the Halloween 18 badge. The badge is only awarded if you finish the first part during the event, i.e. on up to and including November 1st.

Re: Halloween
Spoiler
Vlad's actual history is legit facinating. The more you learn about him the more you realize it's not somuch Christian v Ottoman as it is basic family squabbles. Drăculești were one of two major rival lines of Wallachian voivodes of the House of Basarab; the other being their cousins of House of Dănești. It's though the family name Basarab that he's connected to Bathory. You got Vlad, you got Radu and then there's the other brother/cousin, Dan who you almost never hear about. Probably cousins who spent childhood time togeather. Dan gets left out a lot because his name is boring and because Dan switched sides and started working for the Dăneștis while Radu went to side with the Ottomans.
There's also Matthias Corvinus - most know the name from the Underworld movies, but he's the guy who played all sides against the middle. Basically harassed and haranaged Vlad into fighting the Turks then had Vlad imprisoned at the first oppertunity for attacking the Turks. There's some serious Game of Thrones s.. stuff going on with Vlad.
Diplomatic reports and popular stories were already calling him Dracula, Dracuglia, or Drakula in the 15th century. He himself used the name either as "Dragulya" or "Drakulya" - He actually had freaking terrible handwriting (for the period, these days there are elegant fonts you can download based on his writing) which is how the Three Forgeries were so easily IDd as forgeries - in the late 1470s. His name had its origin in the Romanian sobriquet of his father, Vlad Dracul / Vlad the Dragon, who received it after he became a member of the Order of the Dragon. No one is really sure if Vlad's Dad invented the Order... the paperwork is spoty and debated. There are rival Authentic / Forgery camps around one document in particular.
He also spoke at least 4 languages fluently, possibly 5, including Turkish and Greek. His "overwelming" victory against the Ottomans at the Danube literally amounts to nothing more than he yelled at the Turkish guards in Turkish that they should open the city gates. Mehmed II did cry, as is widely reported, when he saw the Impaled, but not for the reason you think. "The sultan was seized with amazement and said that it was not possible to deprive of his country a man who had done such great deeds, who had such a diabolical understanding of how to govern his realm and its people." Laonikos Chalkokondyles: The Histories

Re: Halloween
Is something up with the quest? I started it the day before Halloween and have been doing it every day and for some reason today when I clicked "Explore the Yard" it just came up saying "No such Quest Exists". I went back to check it and it is still there and it says "Suit: Tail of the Tale" and when I clicked on it, it said the usual "come back tomorrow". Now I'm worried I won't be able to complete this quest after all and that it's bugged. I'm assuming that is the final part? If that's the case and it just comes up saying "No such Quest Exists" tomorrow then I won't be able to get the eggs.

Re: Halloween
It sounds like you accidentally double-clicked "explore the yard", especially since you now can see the link to the next (and last) chapter of the quest. This part of the quest gives you the item "Dark Fudge with a candied black rose", check your inventory to see if you got that. Dark Fudge with a Candied Black Rose can be used to turn a Rose Imp (of any colour) into a Black Rose Impaloobah wrote:Is something up with the quest? Here's the quest text you would have seen:
DAY 6
Quest - Suwit: Explore the yard
Location: Silva Forest
Spoiler
You decide to explore the yard itself. Sure, the house might have some information about Professor Suwit, but the yard might hold clues as to what happened to the poor student who disappeared. Not to mention his kitsune...
Hiding a shiver at the thought, you walk toward the house, circling around and picking out the change in growth and grass types, the vegetable marker that delineated what once may have been a well-kept lawn or garden from the uncontrolled growth of the forest.
Most of the yard itself has been overgrown with weeds that you recognize from your botany courses—ragweed, crabgrass, creeping thistles and ivies, and a whole slew of dandelion stalks. But as your steps take you into the backyard, you see a strange plant you've never learned about in class.
It's tall and has thick stalks, and at first you think its bamboo. But the tops of it have long, splaying leaves, and they rattle in the breeze, giving off a strange scent. As you get close, you realize each plant is nearly twice as tall as you are, the height of your Nandi bear.
You move closer, studying the roots of the plant. Long leaves tickle your face. There's no sign of any missing student, not that you expected any. Other than the strange plant, it all seems rather safe and calm. Maybe Gwendolyn was making that part up.
You spot something on the ground, and what you at first think is a rose in the middle of nowhere resolves into a very old piece of candy. How it got here, you have no clue, but you pick it up.
Then hear an unmistakably dangerous growl from within the plants. Something moves, sending the plants rippling like waves in an ocean.
You nandi growls back, a clear warning and growl of caution. Not wasting any time, you run the other way. Maybe Gwendolyn didn't make it up after all.
