Also really dislike the torso muscles for the male. Really hoping for some dimorphism on this one since I prefer the 5-shard's colours.

I think the artist might've been trying to go for realistic on them; some actual kangaroos have pretty pronounced muscles like that. I'm not a fan of the look either, real or pixel, which is why I prefer the 3-shard more.

Yeah, that's what I figured as well. Like you, I'm not a fan of it on either real kangaroos or the Gangurru.
