I surely am excited to join in on this, though I'm afraid most of my team efforts will only be done in the early morning hours where most would be sleeping due to two jobs. Two jobs, thus I work every single day. Not a long to computer time anymore other than at night in the wee hours of the morning. ;w;

You will know on the 12th. We'll do the first randomized team division some time during the early hours of the 12th and assign each participant their teams then. This will grant access to the team forums.

Those who sign up after that will be assigned teams as soon as possible during the 12th.

Oooh, this sounds super fun! It will be my first competition since joining. Good luck, everyone! Can't wait for it to start, and to see the new creatures. How exciting!!

I'll give this a go. Not very good when it comes to this type of thing. But I'll do my best. ^^

Xenomorph i worked 60 hrs last week with my two jobs, ugh adulting >.> Next week is going to be a 50 hr week , but i got vacation on the 30th yay! so we’ll see what happens with how much i can get done with this comp. so i feel yah! hang in there!

I feel a bit nervous that there isn't a post or a pm proving I signed up--didn't take a screen shot of "you've signed up." Will there be any 12 hour overlap between notification that we're on a team/access to forums etc. and letting new folks sign up just in case there are glitches or to let folks sign up who thought they signed up, but didn't?

Open competition centre and you will see this if you signed up

If you go back to the Competition Centre, it should tell you you've signed up. If it doesn't, it should give you a link to do so.

This is regarding when people get to know their teams etc, so there'll be time during the 12th to sign up in case someone forgot, after the teams are announced.

I'm not seeing that. My 'competition' subforum is still showing all the entries from the writing contest last July 2017.

EDIT: went back to Rosehill's post and clicked the link again. Then I saw the 'you signed up' message. Now I'm confused.. I don't have a Competion Center subforum.. I have a Competion Entries subforum. I'm 'missing' something somewhere, and have no clue what's going on.

Competition Centre is the page where you sign up for the competition. As the competition starts and progresses you will be able to see your own stats there.

The team subforums will become available on the 12th. (:
