August 2018 Competition - Team Tussle

As someone who didn't have time and didn't feel well enough to really participate, I only raised like 8 adult creatures. I didn't like them to begin with, but am I signing up for handouts too? I don't like the prizes either, but I was also on the losing team.

You don't see me throwing a fit over people who might have contributed less. People have lives outside of here, and I'm sure plenty of people who signed up didn't see the minimum reward or didn't sign up to JUST mooch. I myself didn't notice the minimum reward until it was announced for the prizes.

Dunno why some people are so adamant over attacking people who contributed less and making such mean-spirited assumptions. It's a game, quit taking it so seriously.

Even if you think it's wrong to mooch, which it is, it's not fair, making such aggressive, negative assumptions out of people who might legitimately not have had time, is just unfair and uncalled for. Chill.

Tbh during competitions like that with so many clicking/tweeting things grow fast so like, if you don't have time do it yourself (job, school work etc) all you really gotta do is like, toss them in the IFN, or onto a code train(since I assume every team made their own) or a sitter and that'll be more than enough, they'll pretty much grow themselves. So there's not really an excuse to NOT do anything. Esp since it ran for two weeks and throwing eggs in any of the mentioned places takes like, a minute at most.

And like it IS a Team competition, just signing up and then not doing ANYTHING and hoping to get rewarded isn't really fair to everyone else on the team that are doing things and working their butts off. It means everyone else has to work harder to pick up the slack cause yeah, all the teams had the same number of people but if people join a team and do nothing it's basically the same as having fewer people on your team. It should sort of be a given that if you sign up for a competition, esp one that involves hatching and raising creatures that you, ya know, do that.
And five is the number of regular egg slots so that's basically one batch of creatures.

And it's not like you have to keep the Potoos if you don't like them if it turned out you didn't like them. Just, trade/sell them after the contest ends. There's sure to be people who want to hoard more(esp since it's gonna be a bit before they return as regular stream creatures/are able to breed).

I'm barely online anymore but I tried to check in to pick up and hatch the potatoes once I noticed them...sadly I didn't realize there was some sort of sign up? Plus I never grew any of them to adults, just hatchlings. Oh well I prefer solo stuff anyway, I would have dragged down a team for sure.
