Members from ALL three of the teams have been targeted. No team was left unscathed.HiddenMystic wrote:My thoughts exactly...makes me mad as well as very sad that someone wanted to "win" at any cost. And I know my 2c doesn't count for anything but I think that the critters that were in the contest should be removed to sort of make up for the ones removed from the other teams....lord only knows how many that was. Yes I know that takes away from their team - but it also took away from the other teams hard work to have their eggs removed too.PaintdGryphon wrote:I don't understand how anyone could feel that thrill of victory after knowingly cheating. So...really, why do it? Especially over a game that the rewards are pixels. Don't get me wrong, if I were competing, I'd do my best to win, but cheating isn't winning. :/
And people wonder why nowadays that kids think it is okay to cheat? They learn by example...

Re: August 2018 Competition - Team Tussle
All teams have been affected, which points to the likely case that multiple people have been doing this throughout the competition. One person being caught and punished isn't a solution to the overall problem, though hopefully it will deter other people who may be engaging in code removals.Sanna92 wrote:Why in the world would they remove creatures from their own team??? It is very likely that more than one player was removing creatures.Sanna92 wrote:Why in the world would they remove creatures from their own team??? I’m wondering what their goal was exactly

If you’re on Team Vader Tots, it’s called The Dark Side of the Yam, if you’re on Team Purple Spud, it’s Purple Potato Eater Lounge, and if you’re on Team Tater, it’s Starch Your Engines.

Today I finished the flight from The Keep back to my home in the desert. And much as I love the greenery surrounding The Keep, there's no place like home. Plus I need to check up on my babies, my little ankle biting terrors. For those who don't know, my Ammit hatchlings. Over 1.5 thousand of them wear my collars as they roam the dunes and dry grasslands. I've already spotted many of them, traveling in groups with some of my other creatures. And if the noises are any indication, they had seen me as well.
Many of them were already gathered around the landing pad when I landed. My ammits were very curious in the various squawking wicker baskets hanging off the sides of my poor fore gyphon. Thankfully they are trained enough not to attempt to attack the baskets, otherwise I might have had a mess on my hands. Those baskets held the Potooto hatchlings I was raising, and my bag held More eggs.
Speaking of my bag. I had discovered mere moments after sliding off my gryphon that I had a stowaway. It had been a hilarious sort of disaster. I had set my bag down so I could grab a basket, and my ammits, as per usual, attacked it viscously, attempting to open it. Thankfully I had bought one many years ago that was thick enough they couldn’t bit through it, and they have yet to figure out a zipper. I had thought my eggs were safe.... until the bag opened from the inside. All I heard was a loud and panicked “DERP”, And when I turned around to investigate the noise.......
There’s was a purple Potootoe hatchling laying outside of my bag. It was in the most comedic pose, flat on its back, wings splayed out and feet straight up into the air. It’s tongue was even flopped out of its open beak. If it wasn’t for the fact that I could clearly see its chest moving, I probably would have thought it was dead.
It was good enough of an impression to fool my ammits tho. Maybe I should reevaluate their levels of intelligence.....
Anyways. I do recognize the hatchling as Squee, a derpy little Potootoe owned by one of my fellow teammates Zoa. How the little one got in my bag, I don’t know, and I won’t ask. All I know is that I should probably get her back home to her rightful owner.... I really don’t want to make that flight again so soon.... it’s a day and half fight.... ugh.
I hope my teammate doesn’t mind me watching her hatchling for a bit before I return to the keep....
i may or maynot like squee too much. Such an adorable little derp
