Keep Organisation

I've been struggling to organise my keep so I have been wondering how others do so. I've run into a few problems:
- If I have more than about 500 creatures in a tab, the tab breaks. This means I need to have a lot of tabs for Streamborn creatures.
- I have both hatchling, and adult event, shop, world, etc. creatures; I don't want to grow all the hatchlings up but I don't want to hide the tabs since I would like to mine them.
- I hoard/army a lot of creatures.

With the 50 100 tab limit, I'm having a real difficulty, and I don't want to stick creatures in trades. So how do you do it?

Maybe try Opera for managing your tabs? I use Chrome but I do remember being able to use Opera to get to around twice what I have now...it really seems to be a case of system resources.

I have 92 or 94 tabs. Tab limit as far as I know is 100.

I tend to organize my creatures by habitat/homeland, with other tabs for the creatures I'm hatching or intending to sell.

Yeah, I'll have to fiddle with those. It seems that I can open the tab just fine on Firefox but if I want to move anything, it just breaks. So the only tabs I am storing more in are tabs that I know I won't touch like my Koi Army tab. I should probably also get that SSD into this computer.

But how do you guys organise? Do you do it by shop? By type? By habitat/area as FennecFyre? I just have not been able to figure out a good system.

My keep looks terrible. I simply organize by functionality - my Nursery, for example, is eggs. Rugeri is protected hatchlings I want to keep. Bydleni are adults I want to keep. Special stuff, basically.

For the rest of my keep... well, my hoards are in the two Critter Army tabs. Around 5700 critters. Ledomat is 100% frozen eggs. Lineages each have their own tab... and I have an ongoing stream collection that is supposed to be given away or auctioned off cheap at some point. Temporarily put on hold because of my Doni orders. There's a couple misc ones in there... and Shelter is for trade/sell critters.

Yeah my Keep is organised by habitat mostly - Ocean, Shore, Marshes, Meadow, etc - then I have a few specific tabs for things like Jackalopes and Crystalwings and a few armies of stuff.

I organize it by the things I keep.

Frozen eggs of varying types in one tab, artsy critters in another, ibex in a third, ungulates in a fourth, and things with raw crystal shapes in a fifth

Hmm, a tricky one!

It took me quite a while to settle on a sort of organisation that I felt somewhat worked. My streamborns are in alphabetical tabs, event/limited creatures are sorted by the event type (April Fools, Magiversary etc), and shop creatures in their respective shop tabs - with additional tabs for different gens as needed for everything, and a few specific ones for armies or collections (like my Sept 26th tab, or FireFox Army). Sales tabs come and go if they stay empty for long, lol.

I have devided my creatures based on where they would be in the taxonomy of our animals.
With an exception for the turkies, donor and critters with no link in any way to our animals.

Buy my sale treads is also bursting to the point I can't use firefox on them.
When I mine them I don't go through the my keep link. Just so there are less links for firefox to load. Or just stay far away from them.
But if we get much more critters I will get in trouble again with the sizes of the tabs.
