These are a hybrid between Cervinus Deer and Capellin.

As you pick up this egg its tail curls itself around your wrist, making you feel at peace.

(no dimorphism)

These hatchlings like nothing better than exploring with a friend, whether it be their magi, another cheminna, or an entirely different creature. Their curiosity can make even a simple stroll down to the stream an exciting and exhausting adventure. Trying to catch a cheminna hatchling determined to follow an interesting sound or scent becomes very difficult indeed when the hatchling vanishes before your very eyes. Their powers of invisibility come into effect within hours of hatching, however, it takes months before they're fully capable of exuding the calm the adults are known for.

An adult cheminna stands at a shoulder height of no more than fourteen inches, making them one of the smallest known deer species. Their size does not, however, make them defenseless nor easy prey. The male carries two sharp horns that he readily uses against much larger enemies when defending himself or his family. But it is their power of invisibility that is their foremost defense against attacks; able to seemingly vanish into thin air, even their scents undetectable, makes it easy for them to escape. Since their recent arrival, it has been hotly debated among the Keep's scholars, professors, and students whether their ability to make humans feel at peace might also be used as a defense against potential predators in the wild.

There are those who do not thrive on the hustle and bustle of the Keep, some seek out quiet corners in the library or even spend some days studying in their own rooms. One such magi who struggled through her own time at the Keep has recently presented her fellow magi with a helping hand, a surprising outcome of her research into the creatures inhabiting Silva forest. The unlikely coupling of two creatures easily startled, both possessing abilities to avoid detection and capture, has resulted in a creature so calm and trusting that it may calm a nervous disposition and soothe anxiety by its sheer presence. Having retained the power of invisibility from its cervinus deer parent, it can easily accompany its magi undetected, the only sign of its presence the calm it exudes over its immediate surroundings.

I wonder if it's a pond creature, but hopefully soon we can figure out what and where we find it.

Nothing new in the water shop.

Idk if it means anything but the tweet talking about the release says 'A new creature has been spotted in the Keep!' Perhaps it's a hybrid?
