Hatchling Description
Spoiler
Rose snails grow to be the size of a person's hand, but start out small. They need to eat constantly in order to grow, and love to eat the young fresh leaves of plants like lettuce. One might think this would upset gardeners who spent a great deal of effort trying to grow that lettuce, but experienced gardeners know rose snails to be beneficial to their plants when handled properly. The snails rarely ever completely destroy a plant, and the young leaves grow back faster and stronger than before thanks to the snail's magical slime trail.
Adult Description
Spoiler
The shells of angiosperm snails are delicate and greatly sought as decoration for jewelry. The magical properties of the live snails also make some species and breeds highly valuable as garden companions. The wealthy of Synara City love their gardens, and no garden is complete without a few bushels of rose or tulip snails exploring the new buds of a bush or fruit tree. Unlike the flowers they imitate, angiosperm snails bloom year-round, and will gladly stick around in the warmth of a well-made greenhouse. They eat very little once they reach their full size, and most Synarans consider them worth a few half-eaten sprouts of cabbage.
General Description
Spoiler
Wherever there are gardens, there are snails. However, exceptionally good gardeners around the Keep and Synara City might find special snails with delicate aragonite shells structured like flowers. Angiosperm snails come in many varieties, but the most sought after are the rose and tulip variety. These snails are known for having large beautiful blooms for shells, colored as brightly as the flowers they imitate. Each snail has a unique magical property, conveyed through various means. Blazing rose snails emit an aroma which leads to infatuation, and can be dangerous in high concentrations.
