The hatchling is so adorable, I might have to freeze one. What do I love about this sprite? Perfect face, I can clearly see the eyes and snout (an important part of good spriting, imo), the blue ruff, the shaded belly, the pose, the different shades of the underside and top of the wings, the pose, the colors. The proportions of all the parts are absolutely perfect. And as for the text--I can just imagine the giggling teacher! And what a great tie-in to a newer place on the map. This little bat really reminds me of how perfect the Christmas release was last year that led up to the quest that came later. I feel like the lore of MS is growing, it's not just a random stream of creatures. The whole MS team--admins, spriters, writers, advisors, mods--has just been hitting it out of the park for the last 12 or 15 months!

Why did it have to be bats? Christmas broke me so I dont even have a spare dollar! I want a bat :'( So cute :( Maybe they'll show up in black market at some point when I have money to burn ;_;
