Apparently, these beautiful Kirins can already breed, so there's likely at least one Hybrid from Opal and Diamond.

Gemstone kirin are considered juveniles until they fully grow in their scales and horn, which may take as much as a decade. They are frequently the companions of wealthy folk. Synarans are known for making particularly flashy kirin jewelry set with gems, tailored to the match the kirin's scales and fur. Occasionally, kirin scales are used in jewelry, but this is rare as gemstone kirin only shed their scales when they become scratched and worn. However, it not always their scales and fur that draw attention, but their single horn, which is quite large and curves up and forward. This horn is shed every few decades, growing a new tine every time it is regrown.

Despite this specific affection for a certain gem, these kirins are highly prized companions of jewelers, as any of these kirin can tell any fine quality gem from a poor one.
