I wish the confra pegasi could breed. I finally own a lovely pair of each and I would just love to breed little ones to gift out to people. They are by far my favourite pegasus sprite (Other than my beloved Gale) and I would love nothing more than to surprise people and gift them. I am perpetually broke in this game, so breeding is mostly how I stock up gifts for the winter season, haha!

That doesn't have much to do with the back market.

I guess a "breeding permit" item or something might work (I guess they could be forgeries?), but It seems like a bit of a stretch to connect it to the black market.

And other critters artificer-constructs would likely need like...Blueprints maybe? Magical blueprints that require a male and female of the species' aid in order to "construct" a new egg.

Then again the whole reason I breed shop critters instead of just buying more is because shop critters are expensive when you're always saving up for a doni breeding so having to buy the ability to breed them kind of defeats the purpose of breeding outside of lineage making, which is pretty niche to begin with.

Same... I guess they're trying to keep things in the game random and varied... though I wish all unbreedables could be bred, even if they put up a fight to give us an egg, like hybrid Cervinus Deer.

Does the quest for access to the Black Market become accessible when the market is open?

Yep, the access quest is only open when the Market is open. Looks like it will be available again sometime on the 22nd of Dec.
