I only keep parentless, unbred, unlineaged.

Unless of course I decide to breed them, then they are kept in lineages.

And then the lineage only extends to first offspring so i can then have hatchlings of the parents. If I don't like the hatchling's of a species I won't breed them.

All very complicated, not really :P

For my personal collections I usually don't care about anything but the name (must be unnamed or a name I like) and whether or not it is frozen. But I like to trade and make gold, so for the most part I'll only purchase the more desirable "clean" creatures to either breed first gens from or resell at a later date.

Expected to see this here, was not disappointed.

For me, I only like parentless creatures. I'm collecting M/F pairs of each (excluding donis which are 1 each); I have almost everything now, just missing about 12 creatures, mostly giftborns.

I just started the game, but honestly I think I'll want to try and keep thins as simple as possible for myself without getting complicated.

For no good reason I can work out I prefer parentless creatures, or lowest generation possible for hybrids... odd really as I prefer a long 'pedigree' for my Dragcave dragons. I really don't care if they've been bred, I don't see that it detracts from them in any way, and I'm not too fussed about them being named, if it is a reasonably nice name. On the whole I don't name my creatures unless I'm intending breeding them in multiples and need to keep a handle on who's breeding with whom.

Lineages - just no. With a few select exceptions, I really am not interested in lineages. With the few I will collect I really don't mind what generation they are, though I'd prefer really low or really high.

Parentless and unbred. :yarly: I don't even collect hybrids cos the whole breeding thing bothers me so much. I was better about it before they introduced the offspring list. The creatures I had to cull, ugh.

I don't know why, I just can't stand the "Offspring (x):" on a creature's page. Unclean.

Names I don't care about. The renaming fee is cheap enough for most creatures, so if I really want it, that's negligible.

I honestly depends.
For my hoard creatures I prefer SB(esp for my hippocamp army SB babies only). I generally don't care if they've been named or had offspring though.

For things like hard to come by donis, hybrids or quest pets, I'm chill with things that have been bred(just no lineages).
I do try to collect at least one parentless pair of things for my own breeding stock and such. Keyword, try.

For me, i want to only have stream-born eggs and pets.
I don't really mind naming, but it is really expensive and a waste of time. The only exceptions with bred eggs, are that of creatures you can only get from breeding like Capricorns (i think). I kinda don't want to breed for the "breed only" pets, because it will leave a mark on my pets saying that they have children, and i don't like that.

I am trying to collect 2 of every type of egg that is free, that i can, one male one female, and they have to be stream-born. I don't like linaged eggs, but i don't really have a reason. I just dont like pets that have been bred from me or other people.
