Capricorns are weird. I mean, a fish and a goat...how even?
Also I seriously hope that some magi out there have alternate ways of removing Cestoda hatchlings from the body (their description states that the way to remove them from a host is to kill them with a potion).
They're so cute.

Re: MS Lore/HC Discussion Thread
Do we know if magi are able to use multiple types of magic(I.e. water magic, earth magic, etc.) or are they limited to one type? I believe that some creature descriptions refer to "water magi" or "earth magi", but that doesn't really clarify.

Re: MS Lore/HC Discussion Thread
Something I'm interested in is a... similarity in customs between Boreus and Ageti. The Hermeeze Cavern description says of the unnamed holy man, "they found his corpse one day . . . and gave the body to the local Hungry Spirit to appease it," with no other context. Meanwhile in the Taggelisk area, if you do the stupid thing and go after the floating swamp lights, you see this:
As for the other stuff I bolded... well, it's another instance of organic matter being sacrificed to a spirit(s) or deity.
Is there a link here? Not really--after all, food offerings are nothing new, and the god to which human sacrifices were made appears to still have been/manifested as a flesh-and-blood creature--but I really want to know what that "Hungry Spirit" is and whether the phenomenon is observed anywhere else, and this is the closest thing I could find.
Emphasis mine. As explained in one of the other possible events, the 'wyrm god' is Venen, a legendary poisonous wyrm said to have "made the wyrm's numbers great" (pretty sure that apostrophe is in the wrong place, but that's what the text says). Sacrifices of carvings and people were made to Venen. You blink, and something flashes in your vision. It's no longer night, but day, and an enormous tree has fallen in front of you, the roots exposed. A tunnel leads down below the marsh, which isn't a marsh at all but a green field of flowers. People have gathered by the tree, carrying what look like platters of food.
"This should appease the gods of the seas," someone says. "The floods should stop, and they will bless our new village." The air around you is humid and hot, hotter than a desert. You turn, and where Ageti would be is a flat, green expanse with only a few small buildings.
"But what about the wyrm god?" another person asks.

I think I saw somewhere that all magical creatures lay eggs, maybe that's just something unique to them, Magi must lay eggs, which is somehow even funnier.PKGriffin wrote:Given that all of the creatures on the site seem to lay eggs, the answer is probably yes.Blindstar97 wrote:Arkinine wrote:I've been wondering something for awhile, ever since reading the stipica lichenthrope entry. Imagine that one person who never found out they're a magi that decides to have a kid:
"Is it a boy or a girl?!"
"It's a...egg"
"OMG i'm a wizard!"

Lichenthropes are basically fungus covering a dead body, right?PKGriffin wrote:Given that all of the creatures on the site seem to lay eggs, the answer is probably yes.Blindstar97 wrote:Arkinine wrote:I've been wondering something for awhile, ever since reading the stipica lichenthrope entry. So maybe the egg is just made by the fungus and it's composed of a mixture of dead organic material and fungus spores.

I wonder if Tylluans deliver letters of acceptance to the magi keep in this universe?LightningDragon wrote:"Ye're a wizard, Harry."blockEdragon wrote:

Do magi require three shards to reproduce, or is it a quest sorta thing?
