Lol, that would be pretty cool, though. Still I don't really like them that much? I may get a couple but I don't know.GoblinShark wrote:Okay, so giant bison are just as cool as an aurochs.
It'd be super cool if females could breed with the delroch to make beefalo. Beefalo that cooks itself, the best farm animal possible. either that, or it'd basically be a giant angry bison with control over fire, which is decidedly less good.

Behind the spoiler - I know the new critters aren't, it's just for the sake of those curious - is a museum skeleton of an Auroch. Just so people have some sort of reference for how big they were.
Megafauna are just nuts to think about. There's a lot of potential for magi versions. I would love to see a Doedicurus pop up here eventually. - think an Armadillo the size of a VW Bug with a spiked club on it's tail - that's a Doedicurus.
Especially when you get into the dates. Like Aurochs. Jamestown Colony in the US was founded in 1607, began to actually be a serious settlement in around 1613 or so. The last living Auroch was recorded to have died in 1627. Pirates were sailing the world at this time.

That may have been a mistake: I haven't hatched a male yet! lolMistyoC wrote:I'm naming one after one of the managers at work. lol One girl was saying how her boyfriends cows are going to start calving soon and Sherri asked her to name one after her, so I told her I'd name of these after her too. :-) So, my first to hatch female will be Sherri. She didn't want me to name a male after her husband, though.

I thought about Auroch too, when I saw the Latifra Beast.
Absolutely in love with the new creatures!
