I get really sick of quests with time limits. It's a punch in the face for folks who can't be all that active.

I never even knew about this quest till I saw the eggs in the one egg clicking thread and when I saw you had to start it by a certain date in order to continue....I wasn't very happy because I totally missed the starting date and I don't have enough to purchase any.

Pro tip: Mark all the topics in Site News read. If the indicator goes red either something new has come out, or someone's posted in the FAQ. Can't miss a thing now.

Also, take two seconds to scroll down the front page when you log on--all quests and events are announced on the front page the day they start, with links to relevant threads.

The start, turning in xand bear eggs, could be done multiple times for as long as it ran. The full quest can only be done once, and of course the xand bear turn-in is long over.

I really hate quests like this that have time limits, especially those with special creatures.. I am in college and have a lot of upper level classes this year so I don't always get to go online and I didn't notice the new forum/quest in time apparently. I wouldn't mind as much except I see they put an announcement on the stream page for the new quest that not everyone can do but they didn't do this for the quest you had to do beforehand (for a limited amount of time mind you) which would have been freakishly helpful and I likely would have noticed in time last time I was on. This sort of thing really bothers me and I am kinda sick of these types of events that the site doesn't even announce about themselves even when there are vital quests you need to do prior in order to participate. I really like these creatures but don't have the gold so I am pretty much left out again. They clearly didn't care about letting people know about the limited quest earlier and only put this on the stream page because apparently they care about announcing these things all of a sudden but only when it is something that many wouldn't be able to participate in anyway -_- Please be consistent in your announcements and maybe announce new quests (temporary and prerequisite ones especially) and not just new creatures possibly? Please take it into consideration..
