What Do You Collect? :)

So lately I've been stream catching some things that I know certain users collect, with the intention of gifting them to said users in a trade during the holidays. It gives me something else to do on the site, while I'm alternating between playing on here and playing Facebook games. xD That being said, I'm curious about what other users collect on this site!

What do you collect? Is there any special reason you collect the creatures that you do? Do you just think they look cool, do they remind you of a pet you once had, are they similar to your favorite animal?

I collect things mainly for two reasons: I think they look pretty/cool and/or they're similar to my favorite animal. c:

I know that many people have lists of what they collect in their profiles (I do as well!), but I think it would be nice for people to share (if they want to) the things they have collections of and why. Not to mention that it would be interesting to see why people collect certain things. c:

I collect too many things, I think. Every time a new creature is released that I really like, a new collection starts. I don't mind though, it gives me more to do. ^^ I'll put all the things I collect behind this spoiler:

Well, I am most interested in collecting frozen 0.00% eggs. I would very much like to have one of each species. I am not hoarding these eggs - I am collecting just the one per creature. I also like to collect frozen hatchies that I like, especially birds, but again - mostly only one per creature. I began making a Raven hoard but I've currently stopped with collecting Ravens so I could name all the ones I have - no time for this currently. I'm thinking of starting six lineages with six different types of darkish creatures (I'm thinking of Spirit Deer, Cervinus Deer, Seahorses, Tylluans, Enoxes and Hipponoxes).
I also have some Doni creatures I want which I am slowly and tediously getting. I don't want to have all creatures since I don't like all creatures and I want only things that I like. This is pretty much it.

I collect Leviathans, mostly because I bought a ton all at once and it seemed silly not to collect something I already have a ton of. I'm looking to start collecting Dark Minicorns, just because I like unicorns. Other than that I'm not on Magistream enough to justify collecting much else (as can probably be deduced from the fact that most of my adopts are circa 2012 lol).

I kinda accidentally started collecting direwolves, haha!
At first it was just trying to breed for the Kira quest, but I just had more and more and more regular dires... I just kept keeping and breeding them, even after I finished the quest!
Partly because they're so easy to hatch, lmao... But mostly because I've always had a bit of a sweet spot for them.

I collect ALL THE BIRDS. because I love birds and I kinda started one day and I can't stop now :O

I don't officially collect anything, but unofficially... gryphons (which are why I joined the site in the first place) and winged cats. I also got into breeding farir when the variants first appeared, but I'm very picky about them Otherwise I like to try and get either two or 4 pairs of anything that doesn't cost me real money!

The first creatures I started hoarding were Direwolves.. I don't remember why, but I have thousands of them.

The second creatures were frozen Ashevor eggs.. I started grabbing them to use as dividers, back before we got tabs. But I just kept grabbing more and more of them until I discovered that I held the MagiStream record for the most 0% frozen Ashevor eggs. My current total is 807.. 0% frozen, streamborn, unnamed and unlineaged.

But my primary hoard is of Lineaged creatures... and I have no clue exactly how many I have, but it's several thousand overall. 1.6k+ in my Retirement Home tab.. 1.7k+ in my Lineage Freebies tab (to give away) and hundreds and hundreds in my various breeding tabs. And I'm ALWAYS looking for more, lol.

I collect corvids. Especially Yatagarasu Ravens.
I'm seriously in love with crows and ravens!!! They're really smart, super pretty(they're kinda black but if you look closer they're secretly bluish rainbow!),playful... they're perhaps the coolest creatures in this world.
But it's kinda hard to hoard corvid stuffs in this site. Coraxes are quite easy to find from stream but Yatagarasu ravens are rare
I wish I can get thousands of them, but for right now I have....40...

I collect Mist Stalkers - I currently have 360 of them. That started with the breeding competition, but when it was over I just couldn't stop! I also have mini-collections of Angora Jackalopes (63), which I love because they're so floofy and grumpy, meowls (45), and winged cats (40), because cats!
edited to add that I now also collect Pygmy Phoenixes. I have 470, 67 of each color.
