Ah, it's such a dream to finally go and see them. I can't believe that one broken web-site is preventing me from reaching the joy of having actual tickets for their show.
Ah! I hope it comes through for you, saw them one time in the US, and it was spectacular! Totally worth it, so I’ve got my fingers crossed for ya. <3
Sadly, when the web-site was finally up for me no tickets were left for any of the German concerts and it would be too hard for me to go see one in any other country, not to mention way too pricey. I guess I'll have to wait for them to come to Eastern Europe.

From the reports, seems like Paradise's hospital is lost. My mom and I have been there a number of times to see a specialist. It was a beautiful area. So sad. T_T

Apparently evacuation orders are also being issued for roads going towards Chico. Nothing yet for the city itself, but if the fire keeps spreading westward, that may yet change.

It’s not sexy, but don’t underestimate the results of this election. More women won seats than in any other election in US history, plus there were major wins for minorities of all kinds in many states. Florida’s 1 million+ new eligible voters could change the state’s configuration in future elections, which has huge implications for a swing state. And winning the House is immense.
I'm disappointed about a few losses - McCaskill, Heidi Heitkamp, Gillum, Abrams and Beto. They lost to such awful characters too T_T
Spoiler
Thank goodness I was able to vote early here in Florida. And yes I am also disappointed those folks lost. I'm happy we got the House though, I swear I told myself if we didn't I'd not bother to vote ever again on anything.

I'm glad we at least got the House. It's a huge step and I hope it will have decent impact in the long run. Also really happy to see a lot of "firsts" happening across the country. :) <3
As for here, we still don't know who won Flakes' seat, but it's an insanely close race at the moment (Dem candidate Sinema was ahead last time I checked).
And since we're on the topic of politics, I really hate that the Arizona GOP is suing because they want to limit the number of mail-in ballots (which is how, like, 75% of voters in the state vote, including me) being counted for the Senate and just toss the rest out. Talk about voter suppression and a very skewed agenda... :srsly:
In other news, I've had to start wearing a brace on my wrist because I'm getting really bad carpal tunnel. The cold isn't helping much either and aggravates it a lot >.< Hope the pain and numbing goes away soon

Stars above. The fire is now up over 70,000 acres and has reached the outskirts of Chico, CA. Paradise, CA has officially been lost. For those who are unaware or not not keeping up on the situation, the devastation is immense. Paradise is...or rather was, a town home to approximately 27,000 people. Hundreds of reports of missing people. Haven't seen any reports of confirmed deaths yet, but given the rate the fire spread and the large number of people who needed rescuing because they became surrounded by flames, I would not be surprised.

I think this may be the worst fire in the history of California.

And apparently something like, half of Magalia was lost too(someone I follow on tumblr lives there and their most recent update on the situation was 'yeah my house is gone now').
D:
This is horrible.

Ugh....
Sucky friday overall. Relaxing right now.

Still cant believe how many fucking problems communal trains can have -.- First it was 2 stations AFTER the main station I had to get to that had issues. So at least at that time, the only issue was that the trains were late and had to wait some minutes before they could move to the next station. Unfortunately,2 stations before my stop the station before the biggest station in entire city I travel trough (and everyone else for that matter) got issues. It took 1h to get to that damn station, then we waited another 1h 10m for the train to move. It did. It was diverted BACK

Left the train, went off to the compensation-bus (if its called like that in english) station as instructed,a bus that was supossed replace the train and get people to the main station. What happened? When the first bus came, it was FULL. How in the freaking world can you call it replacement if its full? So waited for another one. It was full as well. wasted 1h on waiting on that damn bus I could take, but it never came. Thankfully the trains started moving again so I went back, took the first train that went trough the main station. It was obviously delayed (it had to wait on green signal, because thanks to the fucking issues the trains had there was a huuuge line-up of trains WAITING to be able to pass trough that damn main-station). Sigh. Gosh fucking damn it. 4½h spent in trafic (note: that was the first PART of the route I have to take to get back home. After that I had to take a bus and subway, thankfully, the bus was just slightly delayed, and subway had no issues). 4½h of STANDING STILL. GAAH.THis issues are not new they happen every damn month. Its like a tradition by now. D<

Time to take out RDR2 and blow some stuff up with dynamite arrows. And eat this junk food I grabbed. Reallllyyyy need my junk food tonight. :yarly:

My dad just flew in yesterday from that area. He was out there with someone scouting out areas for a guy to build a new observatory since his was lost in the fires during the summer. Apparently one of the areas they looked at is now on fire. :derp: He also had been in the area of the shooting (not during, but they drove by it a few times I guess?). Glad he made it home ok.

Ugh, school keeps making this whole graduating thing very frustrating. Just got an email saying they automatically registered me for a class because I "need to take it". I don't. My credits transferred for it and I dealt with that last semester. When I looked at why it was putting me in the class, apparently it is trying to put it as my social science course (the course is environmental science). This is the second time it has put a major required course in for my general courses. I still have to go in and switch where one course is being counted because it was put as a general science instead of as a major requirement. :t-bipolar: And my adviser is only available during my class times.

I would suggest anyone who's not in California and has depression or is prone to anxiety or has PTS.... just avoid the twitter tags and FB posts for the fires and limit your intake of national tv news programs. From personal tweets of residents to press pics and video.... it's some post-apocalyptic shit.
