Also, iirc, the sister sites had their plugs pulled because they just weren't worth the time or server money, revenue-wise. Who wants to bet that VoU is no longer making her as much money as she'd like these days, and that's why she wants to scrap it? :derp:
The sad thing is, the site WOULD make more money if she'd just, I dunno, listen to player feedback and do things to make the players happier? She does her own thing and doesn't ever take the players into consideration, which I feel will ultimately be the game's downfall in the end.

I'm so torn between staying and leaving... I love that new species (some of the old CV critters, I believe) are pets on the site now. It changes it up and makes it interesting to see things other than just equines. Buuuut the way the site is handled definitely needs work. :t-corner:

I stopped playing VoU long ago, I went back to check every once in a while but tbh the site is just boring and I can't seriously see why this got to live while CV, a much better game imo, had to die. The events are tedious as hell and they're the same each year, the build a cake v-day event is the worse one I think and unless you can be on a lot you won't stand a chance in getting the event creatures anyway.

Overall, it wasn't a bad birthday today. It finally stopped raining. It was nice and sunny, and I was finally able to walk to the soccer field and back. ^^

Ugh, yes, Frilly Hearts is the worst. A new feature was added that allowed you to 'stroke' your pets, and items needed to bake things would have a chance to drop from your pets as you stroked them. You could also claim items from a shop for free, but I think that was once during the event.

This year's event was so bad... you need to bake small things in order to bake large things and only the large things grant a chance at catching the event pets, and even then, there's a chance of getting last year's pets instead of this year's. So if you played last year, you might end up wasting your time. -_-

It was so bad and so many people complained about it, that the Matriach's "solution" to fix the event, once it ended, was to award everyone one of each of the event critters, so long as you baked something during the event. It was kind of nice to get one of each event pet but at the same time, she couldn't have come up with an easier, more efficient event?

I can't wait to see what the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas events bring about... apparently people are still waiting on prizes from LAST YEAR'S Halloween and Christmas events, which have never been awarded yet, and the Matriarch hasn't so much as acknowledged it, either. Go figure. :|

The protein bar box in my pantry was apparently bought with tape on the top and it looked like someone had opened it prior. And it isn't like an oops, I accidentally ripped the top open; they're a bit difficult to pry open... That seems a bit sketch. Hopefully someone didn't stuff something like razors or needles into the bars... :omg: (the box has now been thrown out btw, so no way to check)

I got a free drink today because of a trivia category.

Of course, it was all about cats. As per usual, I knew every answer but one. Because cats. My group decided i deserved the free drink XD
