I had a good day. Finally cleaned the disaster of my room, got lots done, and am celebrating my birthday on Wednesday for the big 20! :D We also made mozzarella stuffed chicken, and homemade fries for dinner, and they were SO GOOD.

:D

Excuse me, internet connection, I am trying to watch this completely legally accessed movie, stop cutting out and forcing it into an endless loop of buffering.

are you a purple velocitato?
Spoiler
also man do i ever bitch a lot
idunno what it is about folks building modern-day houses with cement walls indoors but please stop

covering the windows in a room with cement walls means that you can a, literally nail shit into the window frame, b, go way out of your way trying to find miniblinds that actually obscure shadows and yknow provide privacy, or c, drill curtain rods into the walls anyway and have them eat away at the cement in under 3 years of minimal use, leaving huge crusty holes in the wall that can't be re-tacked without filling and will not hold up the fucking rods anymore

you can not use fucking thumbtacks everything is tape full out hammer&nails/driver&bits or gtfo
if it's not light and thin as paper there is no tape option replicate the curtain rod issues with tearing the walls a new one

you know what's really nice? being able to do whatever the fuck you want in your house without destroying it

yeah, so it's a bit of a petty complaint, but it brushes a nerve with me. we spent something like 15 years of our time back up north never fully personalizing our apartments, all we ever hung on the walls was the occasional printed out stuff with tape or tacks, never fully unpacking or ever placing our actually personal items because we were too busy being mopey and poor as shit to ever finish moving in. now we've finally got our shit together and are actually mentally well enough to care and want to make our space our own, and we have cement walls.
i'm sure i'll get over it, since it's only part of the house and frankly i have more immediate shit to deal with than decorating, but it's late and i'm bored as shit so hey, bitching time.

those... uh, i don't think those are platypi...
i have a serious but not very question
do folks keep bringing up potatoes because they knew this was going to happen, or did this happen as a result
was it foreshadowing or a reaction?

Today I learned that "russet potatoes" and "baker potatoes" are, in fact, the same kind of potato despite not being the least bit red and that the small red ones are, in fact, called redskin potatoes. THE MORE YOU KNOW

If it was staff bringing it up, it was probably foreshadowing.
