This year is going to suck ass. Some TMI:
Spoiler
Starting having bloody diarrhea on Tuesday, along with horrible cramps like I had with periods when I had them (birth control to avoid periods). Went to the clinic here and the douche didn't give a shit. Just gave me some anti-diarrheal pills. So I had to go to the next town over for a second opinion (20 miles). Then I had to somehow collect stool samples after not eating for nearly a week from nausea. Then I had to go an hour and a half away in the other direction to drop off the samples at a hospital because it's a holiday weekend and they would have to mail the samples otherwise, in which case they would be rejected because they need to get there within 24 hours. Now we wait and see if there's a virus or bacteria or something causing the bleeding. Or if it's something worse....
You know, on top of the virus mom gave me for New Year's, followed immediately by a pinched nerve in my neck on the 1st or 2nd, which still causes me excruciating pain, which the douche was also not concerned about....

I know that my husband half listens to me most of the time and while it is frustrating it does have its benefits.
I've been wanting to get a cat and tonight my mom's neighbor offered one. The conversation between he and I about it went like this....
Me: Honey do you mind if we get a cat?
He hears: Can we get a cat?
He answers: NO!
I hear: No, I don't mind if we get a cat.
We're picking up a 2 year old indoor Maine coon cat tomorrow or Monday.

That's actually where we stayed. The Oceano restaurant is where we (well, me anyway, my mom had something else) the all-you-can-eat sushi. Gambling wasn't too bad either. The machines had a decent payout and let us play for quite awhile.
Don't know if they still do it, but when I was living there as long as you were gambling (even just slots) all your drinks were free. Thank goodness I only lived six blocks away, lol.. so many nights going home drunk.
Oh yes. Many major casinos, at least the ones in Reno, do free drinks as long as you are playing. We found out that the Peppermill doesn't skimp on the alcohol either. Some casinos water them down so there's lots of ice and little alcohol.

my mother and I are in chicago for this weekend and we entered the hamilton lottery for tonight's show but we didn't win; one of our friends from church who lives here won today after entering every weekend since he moved here a year ago!

Oh my god.
So I just finished watching Princess Tutu and there were several bits of music that I swore sounded like pieces from Disney movies(Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty). Turns out I was totally right!
The creepy bit when Maleficent lures Aurora to the spindle is actually from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, and apparently Alan Menken, the one who composed the music for Beauty and the Beast, was inspired by The Carnival of the Animals when writing the music for the prologue, which is why I thought it sounded like music from Beauty and the Beast.

I am glad to know I was not just imaging it.

Con was OK, actually had a pretty fine time doodling at our table. Then I came home and felt sad/annoyed as soon as I looked at some of the group chats. I mean, they're all OK people, though, I guess, lately it feels like we're stewing in the same stuff over and over lately? IDK. Probably a sign that I need to take stuff less to heart (which I'm aiming to do right now) and that I need to go out more often lmao.

Ohh I missed MS. :t-swoon:
(Thank you (to whoever actually did it, not too sure on the details since RC is offline) for fixing the problem~ Hope it wasn't just me doing something wrong, because that would be embarrassing... xD)
