Unrelated: Does anyone have tips on driving? Specifically turning (controlling speed and degree of turn) and knowing how centered your car is? I have pretty bad distance perception so I always have trouble figuring out whether I'm driving in the center of the road (also paranoid about accidentally hitting something because of it). Maybe I just need to practice (or relax) more though.
Depending on the year and make of the car, you might have Lane Assist in the thing which will bleedle at you if you get too near the edges of the lane without your blinker on. Otherwise, unless the road is very new there's usually some indication of where cars have driven along it before you - tire marks, oil drips, etc. Try and keep you as the driver centered over the leftmost if they're tire tracks, or yourself as the driver to the left of the streak if it's oil marks down the center of the lane. Once you get a feel for how wide your car is you won't need the roadmarks any longer but until then copying other people is no bad thing
If you have an older vehicle, look to the middle of your hood. Many vehicles have a slight ridge that goes down the middle of the vehcile's hood. My mother told me to use that point and when you're driving and if it's lined up with the white line on the side of the road from where you are sitting in the driver's seat, you are driving in the center of your lane, which is where you want to be. She told me that's how she was trained in Germany, where she grew up. It's ill advised to drive in the center of the road because when you go around turns, you run the risk of hitting other drivers who may be doing the same thing.

Honestly the best part of that quest-line is exploring I-can't-believe- it's-not-Azathoth's dimension, every part is engaging and there's loot everywhere so you want to check every corner! He really knows how to tempt people into his service with goodies, soul-gems, gemstones and spell tomes for dayz with engaging puzzles and eldritch scenery to keep ya going!

I had fun today :)
I actually just finished that dlc for the first time a couple months ago! It took me so long to go into Apocrypha and NOT die  hell, it took me a while to just walk around the area and not be killed by the ash spawn

You never really get over eating disorders. I've been losing some weight and had gone down a few pants sizes. Today when I put on some of my new pants, they were just a bit more snug than they were last week, which could simply be mild bloating...and I find myself debating skipping meals and how to do so without my son noticing. I know, intellectually, that skipping meals makes the body want to store more fat, but it is still my go-to reaction.

Seconding the suggestion to find a spot on your hood or dash that you can glance at and align with the far edge of the lane in your line of sight. That's how I learned to stay in my lane. For turning, while you're learning make sure you slow down enough. You want to slow down a little as you start to turn, then start to speed up again about halfway through it to come out clean. Practice will make you more relaxed and does make the biggest difference! You'll start to get a feel for how the car responds and how much you have to turn the wheel, and in the meantime, remember that it doesn't take much change on the wheel to make a big difference in your direction. I highly recommend driving around in empty parking lots to practice.

Hate being judged for bringing my "aggressive" dog places. Yes, he doesn't like people or dogs, but he is fully under control and not harming anyone. He doesn't go after people or dogs, but will snap if they get in his face (so far hasn't done so with people, but we don't risk it). We keep our distance from others. This weekend we took him camping and specifically got a wooded area, kept him on a short leash, and watched him carefully so we could be with him if people or dogs walked by. One lady was walking her two dogs right at the edge of our campsite (and hanging out there with them) when we got up in the morning. My dog only barked because he was a bit startled to see them when he came out of the tent. The lady asked if he was friendly and we said no and she told us we brought him to the wrong place. :( Just mind your own business. He has been extremely well behaved and that bark was the only sound he's made. He stays calm and minds his own business when we are out and about. His major issues are at home. We've had him at restaurants, parks, campgrounds, etc. and he's never had an issue. The only issues he's had have been with dogs that are not under their owner's control.

In people, that's just called antisocial.

Not being friendly does not mean aggressive or mean. More on the defensive side.

At least their dogs were on a leash. People around here walk their dogs off leash, even when they aren't properly trained. They would have blamed you and your dog if their dogs were off leash and got hurt.

Finally changed my avatar. No, I didn't join the potato bandwagon. If we ever get chickens in the stream though, I'm calling it now and making a chicken bandwagon!
