I can't stand yarold's so I stopped using it, I use twitter at most twice a day on the same batch of eggs since anything after that seems to do nothing.

It sounds really interesting and cool. What is it that you don't like about it?

Ugh. Just got my car back after going to have the snow tires taken off and finding out my front breaks were locked up (or something, idk cars). Today has been the first day I've really driven it for more than a few minutes and it is so touchy now with the brakes and they feel like they're kind of grinding when I slow down. Really not liking how it feels. I hadn't driven the car in maybe a week so it shouldn't have taken me long to get used to driving it again (even with the new brakes). Something just feels off...

Of course I know nothing about cars, but I had felt like something was off with the brakes for a while and just thought I was imagining things and that turned out to be a real issue so....

I'm just too close to the story, so I don't know if this would be enough to get people interested. I always like checking with others with something like a blurb, since readers' opinions of it matter most.

I like anything that helps my eggs hatch faster I don't have the patience to wait hours & hours for them to hatch.

I have good luck with twitter, and I usually only wait 30-60 minutes to re-tweet one. It's very seldom I have to tweet it more than 2-3 times before it hatches.

Currently, when I get a new egg, I
1. toss it in the above linked hatchery
2. tweet it
3. stick it in Yarold's
4. post it in the click threads
5. come back in about an hour to see if it is hatched

If it is not hatched, I repeat steps 4 & 5 until it is. Everything but the slowest of eggs is hatching in about 1-3 hours this way. Not the quickest method, but without the IFN, it's not a bad hatch rate at all.

I'm definitely interested. It sounds a lot more appealing than most fantasy books being published these days haha. I noticed in a reply to someone else that you said you think it's too close to the story, so my recommendation would be to not explicitly state that he can use the old magics. I'm always a sucker for "strange things happen when [insert name here] is around" lol. It tells the reader that the character is unusual in some way but allows them to figure it out themselves through reading.
