I undersell - well, undertrade - donis on a regular basis. I know full well I'm under shard-to-gold conversion rates, but it doesn't bother me. It gives folks who can't buy shards a chance at the donis, and gets me creatures I don't have the gold for., so I'm happy.
That's what I figured, but we're talking like... over 200k too low, that the person sold something for. That's a huuuuge gap, versus them selling a critter worth 5k, for 100g. All the same, it's not my business, so I guess there's not much that can be done, except to make a note for myself of who was involved and to avoid interaction with them if possible. :t-shrug: Still kinda shocking to see something like that happen, though.
Report it. The mods will look into it and it's up to them to figure out if any action should be taken.

Cause I know there's always the possibility that the buyer will indeed let the seller know via PM or send the creature's actual worth in the trade, so that's what makes it a little iffy as to if it's something that should be brought up to a mod or not, not to mention maybe the seller doesn't really care that they're getting so much less for a creature worth so much more.

I dunno, it seems kinda like a weird situation; like my first instinct was to report it, but then I started thinking over it and decided not to yet. Paint me confused. :derr:

I suspect that I'm the buyer in the above mentioned situation, and this was my understanding: that the person set the price and they were aware, but I shouldn't have assumed that. I based my assumption on the fact that the seller has been on here for a long time (thus likely being familiar with the general worth of things, but this isn't necessarily true) and on other instances where people sold stuff for very cheap. I also don't know if it's proper etiquette to question another person's asking price for something, be it too high or too low. I shouldn't have assumed, I made a mistake in doing so - I've contacted them about it.

edit: heard back from them, they stated that they're content with the price they sold it for.

My mother wants to do the same for a scar on her left arm. Scar tissue can be tattooed (I knew a gal years ago who got a tattoo running the width of her stomach over her cesarean section scar), but from what I know about the process, depending on the type of injury (severity and nerve damage), damaged skin tends to be more sensitive than undamaged skin when tattooed.

Unrelated.

I'm cold. Weather just went right from blazing hot to below freezing. Out go the shorts, in come the sweaters. Never can have it just in between. :sulk:
I have a tattoo over scaring. The one on my shoulder actually hurt worse than going over the scars. It can be difficult with certain types of scars, if there were any healing complications (reopenings make it thicker). Given the natural differences in skin thickness, certain spots on the body like a spot that's thin with a big scar. But it really shouldn't be a problem as long as the Artist is fully trained.

If it is an emotional scar, connected to a life event, I'd bring a hard candy or something similar to suck on. Like some bite sized candy or a sucker. Both to help keep calm, occupied, and keep energy up.

And Revan.... I can't wait to get into my jacket again. I'm one of those weirdos who enjoys bundling up with a cup of hot cider.

There were two exams today so I'm just really glad it's over. For a while. :D At least it's the weekend now so I can relax for a bit and go back to studying on Monday.

I want to hoard the Kalistavris, but I don't necessarily have the time or patience to stare at the stream for hours to wait for them to appear...
I guess I'll just have to army them slowly, over time. :P
