That being said, when you post something that appears in my newsfeed that makes a wild claim of health benefits if you do this one thing, especially when three of the four major claims it makes are inaccurate, and I point it out, it does not give you or your friends the right to attack me as a naysayer against the product clearly being advertised with these inaccurate claims. Sure, some people's dandruff and psoriasis might be cleared up with a "detox," but not everyone's. Most cases of eczema and psoriasis is not caused by a yeast infection, more often it's a immune system problem, so a detox isn't going to help shit.
And I'm not just throwing random information out about it. I know people with psoriasis and eczema, and no detoxing has never helped their problems, nor are their conditions caused by a yeast infection. I personally have an oily scalp that if I don't wash my hair regularly I develop dandruff (thankfully don't have to use head and shoulders shampoo to treat), so yeast is not the sole cause of that either. Not to mention a detox doesn't treat a yeast infection. You have to use an antifungal to get rid of the yeast infection.
Just reminding people to take such wild claims that yeast is the sole cause of psoriasis (false), eczema (false), dandruff (false), and athlete's foot (only true claim), and can be fixed by taking this "detox" pill, with a grain of salt is not downplaying the effectiveness of the product, it's disputing the very wild claims they're saying their product fixes.
Yes a detox of the gut is often a good thing, and should be part of a healthy diet, but it doesn't guarantee that your dandruff will go away because when you detoxed you got rid of "yeast" from your gut. Even if it does, it doesn't mean there was a "yeast infection" in your gut causing your dandruff. Correlation does not make Causation. That's like saying "I drink water, and I've never gotten the flu."
I effing hate MLMs (i'm assuming that's what we are talking about here, it's so on track for MLM cult like behavior). Otherwise, people need to stfu and go get an actual medical degree if they're that invested in being "correct".
