Walked to work this morning. Lightened my load and only took a purse. Turns out the notes I need to work on this manuscript were in my backpack.

Depression really sucks. I know I have to go to the store and do laundry and so many other things but I just can't get myself up to do them. I'd rather just lie in bed all day.

Fucking doctors. Why the fuck would I need a second referral to the same damn specialist for a problem related to the issue I'm already seeing him for? Fortunately the vertigo is already noted in my file.

@Soch: Doctors a nuts, holy shit. <_< Maybe the doc didn't know you were already going to see the specialist? I've got mild vertigo and got some meds that make me extremely sleepy, but when I wake up the next morning I'm good to go. It's been a few years, but I believe I just went to a walk-in clinic to get diagnosed and get the perscriptions

Landed the airplane smoothly by myself a couple times today

My instructor says I'm getting close to being able to solo. I told him I'm not going to solo unless I'm totally comfortable and confident with my abilities. Which will probably be 2-3 hrs more of flying with an instructor after he's told me he's comfortable with me soloing. He's okay with that. Obviously, I'm gonna be a little nervous flying solo the first time, but I'd rather be a little nervous than on-the-edge-of-panic nervous.
Today he opened the window to look at the lake while I was turning my base and I said "What are you doing, you FOOL?!" We had the giggles until I needed 100% concentration to get the plane on the ground.

I seriously won't be surprised if he and I start hanging out outside of instruction time because we get along great and have a lot of the same interests.

I have $22 to last me until Saturday and I'm so worried. I hate having so little money and transitioning to a new server job is always like this cause you need to earn rights to dinner service and so on. Someone keep me from hyper ventilating or something.

Ugh, why does everything fun always happen on the same weekends? The next LARP event coincides with my conference in the Netherlands, so I can't go. And then an anime con and a writing con happen on the same weekend, so I have to only pick one.

But hey, I get to go to the Netherlands for work. I've never been to Europe before!
