Depression is the worst thing. Normally this is my favourite time of year, but I just can't get into it this year. My friends are all busy with other friends or significant others, so they're not around and my meds don't seem to be helping anymore. I have things to finish but all I do is lay in my bed and stare at the roof.

I haven't been diagnosed with depression, so I can't say for sure that I have it, but I feel like I can relate. Fall is my favorite time of year and Halloween is my favorite holiday, but this Halloween I just felt empty and alone and dead despite the fact that I should have felt alive and happy. It was frustrating.
I'm doing better now, so keep pushing on and you'll have good days! I know I'm just a stranger, but I'm here to talk if you need it.

I have been feeling SO weepy lately, and super clingy (my poor bf ). I really thought I was going crazy and it was miserable but am 'happy' as of today to find out it was just PMS. I only get my period a few times a year and I usually don't have emotional stuff with them (just crippling cramps on day 2) so this was really unexpected. I have no use for this uterus, I wish they would just take it out...

On another note, I am so looking forward to the winter festivities here

I'm the same way! I love cloudy, gloomy days — bonus if it's actually raining/snowing. Sunny days seem to aggravate my anxiety/depression and makes going out much more difficult for me. I feel more... exposed? Vulnerable? Dunno, I'm weird, too, I guess
I feel much more comfortable going out on cloudy days and at night. Certified vampire.
