Drinking ginger ale has helped so much with the nausea I was having. For once, I don't feel like I'm going to barf. It's a godsend.

I'd like to see my right cheek improve a bit more. Left side is healing quite well, but the right is still a bit swollen and sore. The spot that they usually inject the numbing medicine has a lot of trauma (wouldn't be surprised since that's where my bad wisdom tooth was) so it's caused sores near the extraction site. Also numbing. Terrible, terrible numbing of my chin and lip. At least I got a follow-up next week, so if it's that something isn't healing right, they can look at it.

Hopefully my Cabbage Patch Kids cheeks will be gone by next week. I got other appointments to attend to and I don't want to walk around in public with swollen cheeks

Lol, it’s obvious when some people don’t read your “looking for RPs” thread...

I’m RPing on a different site and I posted a thread asking if someone would be interested in a specific plot craving I’m having. The thread was only maybe three smallish paragraphs or so, and it clearly outlined my likes and dislikes, and what direction I would rather have the RP go (while still leaving plenty of room for plotting specifics with my potential partner).

Then someone messaged me saying they were interested and basically asked, “so what character would you be playing in this plot? And I want our characters to start out as best friends! Maybe they could both be monster/supernatural creature hunters together” ... despite the fact that I clearly stated in my thread what role I would be playing (definitely not a hunter...) and that ideally my character and their character would start out as enemies; theirs would be the hunter and mine, the hunted.
And they dropped a bunch of other subtler hints that basically told me they hadn’t read my thread at all.

I’m not particularly upset, I just find it odd that someone would show supposed “interest” in an RP plot that they didn’t even read? How do they know if they’d be interested if they didn’t actually read it? Plus, I’m such a shy and awkward person that I’m having a difficult time saying no, but I essentially told them that our expectations are just too different.

I really need to try harder at getting to bed earlier and start getting up earlier in the morning.
It also really doesn't feel like I've been on Magistream for slightly more than 7 years.

My boss gave me a $2 raise then told me someone reported that I play video games at work. I was like Captain Holt, all 'Video games? Video games? VI-DE-O-GAMES?'. For the record, no, I don't fucking play video games at work and if I find out who keeps reporting me to my boss for various things, I'm going to shove a pubcat up their ass.

I have GDQ playing in the background, and every time I fall asleep, I keep having dreams about it (even interviews with runners because I guess my brain felt the need to be creative). I thought I missed the Wind Waker run because I had a dream about it. Turns out the Wind Waker run hasn't even happened yet ( though, it is up next in the queue)

Kinda worried right now 'cause my grandmother is showing signs of strokes and slight forgetfulness of things she shouldn't be forgetting. She's the only grandparent I have left and it scares me since she's been in perfect heath for like, ever, aside from things like vision, arthritis, and stuff.

You know there is an overabundance of work when the last person in the world to get overtime, aka me, is getting overtime. Some of the increase was to be expected as it is the beginning of the new year and insurance changes go into effect, but damn this is worse than that.
