Re: How Was Your Day Thread V5
I've officially spent over $900K. Not of my own money, at work. I'll probably never see $900,000 in my entire life.
If you see me posting nonsense, give me a smack and tell me to go write.

Re: How Was Your Day Thread V5
Thank you for all the answers and tips in regards to my tattoo inquiry!
@Faleep, the information provided was very informative. I have a bit of an issue when communicating with vendors of any kind in person so I am very nervous to do exactly what you suggested. I was tipped that there would be something of a tattoo fest in the beginning of October so I think I'll try that.
@liga, thanks for the tip as well. I will make sure to look for an artist who creates tattoos in the style I am looking for. I am really scared of getting a tattoo that I won't like afterwards. Sorry to hear such a thing happened to a friend of yours.
@Soleil, I know some people with tattoos but none of the tats look really appealing to me. These people are also colleagues at work and we are not very close so I am a bit hesitant to ask in debt questions. I have checked online a couple of places but it is a bit hard to me to decide based solely on that. As I mentioned above, I am also too nervous to look around shops so I'll try the fest.
@Myrin, I'm thinking of getting an owl. Not a big tattoo, something small to begin with. Since it won't be a large tattoo I think that it wouldn't look that good if the style is realistic. As for showing it - sure! I am hoping to get it by the end of October.
@VilaWolf, thank you for the aftermath tips! I will make sure to save them when the time comes and I need to take care of the tattoo. I'm not really afraid that it will hurt much but I appreciate the tips.
@Desade, I'm not really that afraid of the pain myself but of the possibility that the tattoo won't turn up good. That is the really frightening part to me and the reason I have been hesitant for a couple of years.

That too! I'm incredibly picky about my own artwork, especially after looking at it for several days. I can't imagine how I'd feel about seeing a piece art for the rest of my life if it wasn't absolutely perfect!PeterCamenzind wrote:Thank you for all the answers and tips in regards to my tattoo inquiry!

If I had a cat that told me anything at all, I'd just be shocked at the fact it was speakingFlaviel wrote:I realize that Morgana from Persona 5 can be rather annoying with his constant pestering about going to bed early and not doing anything unnecessary because sleep is precious but damn, I think I might need such a kitty-cat myself. I sure as hell can't be trusted with being responsible and getting enough sleep and all those adult things on my own. Maybe if my cat told me to go to sleep I'd actually do it?
and I haven't played Persona 5 but I kinda want to haha

I wish my cat Skittles 'would' start talking.. she meows/chirps all the time.. and I really wish I knew why, because it can get rather annoying when she does it while I'm trying to sleep. She's half Maine Coon so she's very vocal anyway and the chirps can be adorable.. but not when it's over and over and over in the middle of the night.

This is the "Cat Whisperer" show isn't it
With dogs,it looks serious when they have issues. But with cats, it looks like a comedy show. Why
The editing just doesn't work here
I shouldn't be laughing but I can't help myself Its a cat.

I dunno, some of the episodes I've seen have been like horror shows; cats attacking eatch other, clawing/biting anyone who comes close.AssassinsCreed wrote:This is the "Cat Whisperer" show isn't it

Re: How Was Your Day Thread V5
where you get your tattoo will also effect how painful it is (as well as your personal pain levels), though honestly i didn't really find it that painful, just occasionally weird -except in one spot- the ditch of my elbow was crazy painful but it's a small area so it still wasn't that bad b/c it was over so fast (but still don't recommend, i probably won't get my other arm tattooed there). The weirdest sensation was the one on my chest- it didn't really hurt but like you can feel the vibrations and it's just really strange (mine covers my chest and goes down my arm). You can talk to your tattoo artist about what a good spot is for you (generally anything boney is a little more painful- so like not your hands or feet or ribs)- they don't want to hurt you. Also definitely bring snacks to eat during because it takes a lot out of you!Desade wrote:I really want to get my first too. But, I'm terrified of the pain.PeterCamenzind wrote:I think I've finally decided it's high time I get a tattoo. Any tips on to what to look for when choosing an artist? This will be my first tattoo.
I was personally kind of high off of it- like that tattoo high that everyone talks about is legit and they're definitely addictive (i really want to save up to get another)

Oddly enough, it's only one of two videos from this show that are blocked on YouTube, for me. I found another video of the episode, but you have to pay to watch it.
