I like my hedgehog, but when you don't feel well and he's been running on his wheel from 11pm to 2:30am you start to consider rehoming him (I won't, he's an adult hedgehog that is already a rescue. I always warn people not to get a hedgehog if they live in a small apartment or will be keeping it where they sleep. Shit sucks, yo, and your neighbors will give noise complaints even if you get a ""silent"" wheel. Fatass BOUNCES the freakin when he runs )

Got an ultrasound Monday afternoon, doc already called with the results. Apparently my ovaries are a bit bigger than normal but there's nothing she's concerned about so yay? Just have to see if I get the nasty pain again in August.

I just found that out that a co-worker of mine, a guy I was on a few projects with, died over the weekend. Tragic. He has two kids too. No clue how it happened. He was a healthy guy, so I assume it was some sort of accident.

I should just get over myself and call the GP hotline for advice since the strike is still ongoing and not like I can go to a doctor rn, but it's not serious enough to warrant going to the the ER by far.

Some of the eczema on my scalp is yucky and oozing (think of matted hair and stained pillowcases,
yay), need to ask for some doctor-approved home remedies for cleaning that shit. Had fever two nights ago, which has gone away, but the lymph nodes on my head are swollen - small wonder, those crusty small wounds must be NASTY. Hydrogen peroxide isn't an option, since I don't have any intentions of bleaching patches of my hair, thank you very much.

And while my immune system is battling that, a swarm of cold sores has errupted around my mouth, nose and eyes, so I look just gross.

Sigh. This is going to make me sound like a dick, but I miss the old RPs that people used to make on here. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I feel like there used to be a lot more variety/passion in it, rather than just a half-dozen RPs of the same kind.

I also miss my old RP buddies, so that probably doesn't help
