I did a thing.

I'm no longer a level 7-8 blonde with level 6 regrowth! It was my mates last day at our Barbering course so to celebrate I let her do ky hair. We picked a random colour and got violet mahogany. It turned out very purply but I'm very happy with it. Makes a nice change.

My neck and shoulders are killing me. Also, after 2 pm tomorrow I will officially be the nonfic selector, handling $1.4 million worth of material. Ahahaha. Ha.

Think it might be tension from stress causing the pain? Hate when that happens. I sometimes imagine one of my RP characters giving me a shoulder massage when I have problems, sounds really silly, I know, but some times it works to relax the tension.

Your promotion sounds both wonderful and scary. But you can do it, and just think of the opportunities you'll have for choosing (lgbtiqa+) educational material for the libraries.

You know this trop, when a character is sleeping/in matrix/in comatose and real world tries to send some kind of message to them? Today I have a feeling that I'm this character: five different people, in five different (like, absolutely different) parts of a city asked me how to get to the <street name>. Like, why me? Didn't they see that I totally do not live here, that I myself tried to figure out how to get to <street name 2> and that I panicky was searching for the street signs?
I googled later and there is only one stret with this name. In the sixth part of a city.
Is this some kind of a flashmob?

Why am I awake again? My alarm doesn't go off for another hour, yet there is no use trying to get back to sleep at this point. :-( I've been doing this far too often lately.

We moved the cat in with us on Wednesday and last night I got up to pee and after that she wouldn't stop crying for me to come back out of our room. I'm glad she's exploring more, but I hope this whole crying at 5am thing stops. I think she's used to my dad feeding her around then.

But I'm so happy she's finally here. I missed her so much. And BF's allergies haven't been too bad yet.

I hate the process of getting sick. It's a totally normal temperature in my office right now, warmer than I keep my apartment, but I'm bundled up and freezing because I'm tired. It did get wintery again for the day, at least--I'd feel even more pathetic if it were still 60+ degrees out.
