It was a nice gold boost but my eggs still ain't hatching any faster. The extra gold is nice tho since the pond ate much of my pile, I still don't have a pair of the solar kois but I gave up.

Another near-midnight emergency trip to the vet for one of my gerbils. Can't be sure what it is this time, either a REALLY bad allergy to the new tree leaves I gave them, or a tooth/mouth infection of some sort. He is on pain meds right now but honestly, it's not really looking all that great. He's already a bit older at 3 1/2 years.

Nothing to do now but wait and see if he eats tomorrow, or if he's even well enough to eat.

So far so good, I finger fed him some baby food earlier to make sure he is getting fluids, and he ate a couple pine nuts. An hour or so later he is up and acting completely like himself (not the little, still, eyes closed ball of pain he was last night). Fingers crossed he keeps this up and whatever caused it heals.

Back in the day when refrigerators put out heat from the bottom vent, my mom used to put our shoes there to dry.

I feel like I have the worst luck with antidepressants and antipsychotics. My body never seems to react well to them or their effects eventually stop working. Ever since starting this new medication, I've been dizzy and feeling like a zombie. I hope these side effects work themselves out soon.

That's hard and I both sympathize and empathize. I quit mine cold turkey (yes, I know that was stupid) because the ones I were on that I liked no longer seemed to help and the new ones made me feel like that. I'm still here, so it didn't end up devastating for me, though I would never recommend it to anyone. But if you end up feeling like it's making it worse, please go to the doctor or call someone.

I had to quit Paxil cold turkey because I was suffering from one of the more severe side effects (to the point of debating on whether or not I go to the ER). I was only on it for like 3 weeks, so I didn't really have any withdrawal.
My anxiety meds don't work as strongly as of late, and now I'm taking a new antidepressants on top of it.

Still pissed at the SOLS/OLS North government cuts. For non-Ontarians, our mini-Trump and his lackeys forced a vital service to discontinue their interlibrary loans delivery service because they cut their budget by 50%. It also means the company I work for might lose business because we also rely on the SOLS delivery service to save our clients money when delivering books/taking returns.
