There's a pretty moth in my house that's a certifiable good boy.

He's a ball of fuzz with wings and a face

he's got these pretty wings with two dots on em, looking like the dandiest of spooky moths, or the spookiest dandy moth!

He's got cute orange fluffs on his little legs Very dandy boi indeed

My boyfriend was driving us home from the dog park like an hour ago and there was this guy walking on the sidewalk outside the apartment complex as we were pulling up. He was wearing a sweatshirt with like a tank top underneath it (which I could see because he had his sweatshirt pulled up, just wearing it on his shoulders or something, arms out of the sleeves, it was odd). So we drove past him and I just thought he was weird and it was no big deal. Until he turned around randomly and started walking toward us. I immediately got bad vibes and told my boyfriend but he didn't really get it, I guess. The guy then crosses the road so I get the dog out of the back seat and start walking down the sidewalk to my boyfriend's apartment. I keep glancing over my shoulder, trying to discreetly make sure the guy was gone. But he wasn't. He'd crossed back to our side of the street. I made my boyfriend walk faster until we got inside and locked the door.
Was I overreacting? I just felt like something was really off with this guy. He kinda seemed dazed too, as if he was on something. I don't know...

IMO no you weren't overreacting at all...gut feelings can sometimes help avoid dangerous situations. Never know when some wacko is going to go stupid with a gun or knife any more.

I take it you didn't recognize him from the neighborhood? Glad you are safe.

Actually I was more thinking about Borderline Personality Disorder, and I actually found this thread: 42-hall-of-speakers/217846-borderline-p ... order.html But it seems like either no one on MS has BPD or no one wants to talk about it? The thread only has one post in it.

If anyone is really bored, I just finished my first manual colorization of a photograph and would appreciate any feedback / tips. I can provide reference pics I used if you need them. However, I can tel you that I probably developed some sort of sub-conscious hatred for / aversion to palm trees.

I’d rather ‘overreact’ over nothing than end up in a sketchy situation because I ignored a gut feeling.

And seriously, I can’t see anything you did that could be considered ‘overReacting’ at all. An unfamiliar person acting strangely caught your eye, you saw them take notice of the both of you & head in your direction, you kept your eye on them as you sped up your pace so as to get indoors quicker. That all seems really normal and sensible to me. Overreacting would be screaming and running, immediately calling police, going after him with the dog- something way out of proportion to the actual situation.
