I don't remember her name and don't care to either. What I do remember is how she sulked when confronted and how no idea was a good idea, if she didn't think of it first. And any suggestion to change something or improve on one of her ideas, usually led to a tantrum. It was her way or the highway.. and I took the highway because it wasn't worth the frustration.

This is what I remember of that site, and why I chose to leave myself. I mean seriously. There are so many shitty site people out there. At least Madd's amazing.

I've found myself questioning why I play on VoU. I'm a newer player, but I can already see that the Matriarch never listens to what the players want. She always does whatever she wants, regardless of what players want or suggest. Reading through topics on the forums make this very clear. She doesn't even answer people most of the time too... and apparently there's things on that site that people have been waiting TWO YEARS for? Like prizes and stuff they've earned, but haven't gotten TWO YEARS later? How insane is that?

From my understanding, she's the only one who runs the site. But even so... it's not hard to listen to your player base and answer them when they have a question or something. Typing a forum reply takes a couple minutes out of your day, that's all. Lots of people on there have complained about so many things... it's mind boggling that a site being run that way even still has players. o.o

Yeah, the site was so poorly handled that I left. not to mention the events are so badly, you can only really get good shit if you dedicate your entire day to VoU and nothing else it's the only way.

My coworkers are fucking morons. Just got an email from a client politely asking why a download from our site is dated a month ago. Just went to ask and apparently nobody's been bothering to update it! Even though we have clients who use it! It's now totally out of date and we look like idiots!

Doctor called me earlier and left a voicemail saying she needed to discuss my lab results.
I called back an hour later, she's gone to lunch. Cool. I call back when secretary told me to, still unavailable. Secretary tells me that she'll have the dr call me back when she's done with her patient. Their office closed 20 min ago and I never heard back. -_-

Ahhh yes phone tag with the doctors office....I know this game well. Hopefully you might hear back tomorrow, but you probably would be better off going to the actual office (as is the case with me sometimes >_<).

Actually she called me from home later that evening, which is good. The initial voicemail always makes me paranoid because I never know if it's good or bad with me. I have such poor genetics that it could go either way.

I agree with what everyone else has said about VoU so far.

I saw old posts on the forums there, well not OLD but... from earlier in this year, where the Matriarch admitted that she wished people would leave the site, so she could 'scrap it and rebuild it from the ground up.' So ever since, it seems like she's stopped caring about the site as much as she could. It definitely has a her way or the highway feel to it. I've lost count of how many help/bug topics are on the forums, that she hasn't so much as acknowledged. It's a shame, really, the site has so much potential to be awesome... but her thing is that she wants it to be so drastically different from other adoptable/collectible sites, and sometimes that's not always a good thing.

I don't know how much longer I'll be willing to stay on that site... it's getting frustrating and games like that should be the opposite: relaxing.
