I feel like the "How much is it worth" thread is totally useless lately, which is sad cause I swear it used to be better. Now, though, hardly anyone answers your questions, leaving me totally unsure of any prices at all and how much I should sell things or pay for things.

I’m a pretty bad thread mama, but I wonder if it’s worth creating a D&D guild. Either so people can talk about their campaigns, or find campaigns. Or both.

I don't care for it either because it also makes searching through quicksales a nightmare because rather then finding people selling what your looking for you just get that thread's questions.ShadowOfThePhoenix wrote:I feel like the "How much is it worth" thread is totally useless lately, which is sad cause I swear it used to be better. I'd really love to see it moved out of the actual sales forums.

God, school is just a soul-sucking well of depression. It’s irrelevant, boring, and it’s 7 hours of my time down the drain. I already have the skills to make it in the real world. Why am I here?

Because the people who regulate education would rather keep tacking arbitrary, conflicting customs and rules onto the already fantastically screwed up minors' education system, than risk putting money or their reputation towards regulating the college industry that inflates employment requirements beyond reason and screws up the rest of how the country works.TheEmbodimentOfKarma wrote:God, school is just a soul-sucking well of depression. I’m already working on making an argument for letting me get out of school and start being productive in society. My parents are extremely resistant to the idea, but I’ll just keep trying.Solbrekt wrote:Because the people who regulate education would rather keep tacking arbitrary, conflicting customs and rules onto the already fantastically screwed up minors' education system, than risk putting money or their reputation towards regulating the college industry that inflates employment requirements beyond reason and screws up the rest of how the country works.TheEmbodimentOfKarma wrote:God, school is just a soul-sucking well of depression. What are your plans? Might be hard to get a job (assuming you are in high school). Hard enough finding work with a diploma and/or degree.TheEmbodimentOfKarma wrote:I’m already working on making an argument for letting me get out of school and start being productive in society. I’m still trying to determine what exactly I want to do for a living, but the online job market is profitable. I just need to do more research.

Re: How Was Your Day Thread V5
Spoiler
As someone who has a family member who did get a GED and didn't complete highschool, I'm gonna recommend you stick with it, based off my own conversations with her. (I wanted to drop out, too.) Yeah, school can suck. But getting a decent paying job is much harder with a GED, at least around here, don't know about where you're from. Not to say it can't be done, but it takes WAY more effort. Employers sometimes look at GED's as: "This person couldn't stick with school, so how can they stick with a job?" Especially with teenagers. Ultimately it's your choice. Make sure you research all your options, too. Good luck, regardless.
*rolls around* Maybe 30 random potions was a bit too ambitious. I've only done 18 and I'm already fed up.
